Do not enable his wandering on this creature. It is very good when riding but 0 IQ this creature will go anywhere and will make himself killed by strong dinos or jelly fishes my 3 stegosaurus was killed by jelly fish and 2 were killed by spinosaurus they went a mile away from me when enabled its wandering

It's been futile taming this guy. I spent over 40 tranq on a lvl 60 at the head until I gave up.

My stego managed to kill 2 trikes and 2 stegos because of its knock back

Real easy tame I was just lvl 9 I tamed one Kuna load up a slingshot with a handful of stone and stand on a really high rock then shoot at it real easy

Just run backwards with a crossbow with tranq arrows. They be super slow even when sprinting

Use three metal billboards and place them in a triangle around the stego and he’s trapped and then you unload ur tranqs on him

they are a lot stronger since the December update and if you attack them you do reduced damage. (you do half the attack damage) what makes them a lot harder to face in the wild

You can knock it out with the sling and only takes 50

berries but it takes so long

Be careful when you leave the stegos unattended in the wild. I had one tame auto-decay after it was tamed. Leave a foundation or something. Really annoying, because it happened twice in 2 days.

Me and my friends were using it to grather berries and it won’t work but is good a gathering wood

These guys are worth taming they can take on an army of kaproouchus and they are very strong

Erm the way I do it is by running away and shooting with any longneck preferably ascendant with trank bullets and it will just get knocked out obv depends on level to the amount of Tranks you use

Give it berries instead of meat they do not eat the meat that you give it

If u ask me I would say the best way to kill a stego is just by backing up and shooting him with the sling shot

Where do you usually find stegos I want prime meat so can get more games

Honestly just go for a Trike instead

Doing 2 tests on these against gamma spider and monke and dragon with yuty courage roar, one with the tek, one with normal

No saddles on the tek ones since I think it’s a bit unfair they have the level advantage. Normal stego will be in a different post so let’s say this is pt1.

Gamma broodmother:At first, i thought they were doing nothing and the damage sucked. But I slowly saw the hp bar of the big spider going down. Brood kept healing but barely. They got down to half with no loses and we’re doing good. The araneos couldn’t do much since stegos have aoe and alas, the big spider went down to the stego fighting forces. Brood died in about 10 minutes.

Megapithecus: The monkey was healing and pushing stegos off. They stood almost no chance.The tek stegos held on for about 25 minutes before the last valiant warrior was pushed off the edge.

Dragon: Funnily enough, while fighting the boss a bunch of tek stegos had hatched and I needed to clean them up somehow so…. That’s how the dragon got here XD. Onto the fight now. I didn’t expect them to beat the dragon and unsurprisingly, barely any dmg. But they cornered it and started doing some dmg, but then liek 10 died. Still the rest bravely fought on. Then 2 more died. They dealt like 10% each time it flew down but it kept healing. Also after stegos my next Dino’s will be kentros. Anyways, 4 more died and only the 2 lone survivors remained. When the dragon landed again, one more died and there was one lone survivor. Eventually the lone survivor died and they were all eliminated, RIP tek stegos, they were all valiant warriors wether they destroyed the broodmother or died to the dragon/ megapithecus

Easy to tame with club just lvl up ur dmg and keep hitting its head slowly walk away while hitting its head
