These guys are just so good! Like they could change your whole life in ark.

1. They can walk on 4 and 2 legs

2. They are semi-aquatic which can help you getting fish

You could farm for exp and they are mostly found near river

The spinosuarus the most op dino on the island, an all terrain power-house that can and will wreck everything in style and speed. Fast. Powerful. And if you can’t tell.... I LOVE SPINOS!!!!!!!!!

If possible make a breeding pen and make a super spino army

I use this beast to knockback and kill theris,rex's, baryonyx's,carno's,and raptors.Im also confident that it could kill yutas,allo's,megalodons,and even mosas.and if I had multiple I could even kill a giga if their near water

Better than rexes, I just killed an equal leveled rex with only losing 1/4 th Health nettr than rexes in water and travelling and you can this in broodmother boss fight (due to the water buff and there are pools in the broodmother arena.

Brilliant all-rounder, I had a spino named ripper, first big tame, he was brilliant. They are great for mobility, good for attacking other dinos and just overall a fun tame! As I’m posting this, I’m taming ripper II. Wish me luck and enjoy fellow ark player

Umm so I got a spino from pure hard work and he was a low lvl which makes sense because I was about lvl 55 or something like that . So I was just killing stuff and found some piranha and I told my spino to kill them . There was about 4 of them and my spino had like 1500 hp left . I looked away for like 5 seconds and when turned around he was just taking a nap as I got closer to him I found out he just wanted to take an eternal nap and guess who had the medicine, the piranhas did

Yup that right four piranha which were 2-5 lvl killed a spino which had like 1500 hp left in the water

It’s been like 9 months or maybe even more and I still can’t find the answer ,no player could kill it because it was single player

Great Land and Sea mount!

Others have pointed out its great farming capability in water but more specifically I was able to farm 2k chitin from eurypterids in under 5 minutes with my spino<3

Btw the load of eurypterids i found is in the shipwreck in the bottom of the cove at Viking Bay(:

Spino can eat them up to collect the resource so you avoid getting stung and KOed under water!

So you get loads of chitin, meat, oil and pearls!

Dwarfing all but the largest creatures, Spinosaurus is the terror of the land and the water. A spinosaurus is the unrivaled all terrain animal, combing land power with naval abilities. Although it has less HP and damage than the Rex, Spinosaurus makes up for that with a higher attack rate and wider AoE. Pump HP, stamina, damage and a bit of speed for an unstoppable war machine.

This beast is my preferred alternative to a rex and in all honesty the Spinosaurus seems to be generally better with the only bad stat being weight. This amazing dino excels both on land and in the water and get an increase to attack speed and movement which makes them even more deadly. They also seems to have a higher dps, along with two attacks that can only be used in certain stances, 4 legged stance offers a simple bite, while the 2 leg stance offers claw slaps (or something idk) which are executed faster and are much more powerful; they can also trample smaller creatures. Because of Spinos quick speed they are a pain to tame when they flee which makes a trap viable but not necessary.

10/10 from me, exceptional creature.

Super useful on aberration, use in the river area... kill all fish in the water... you will level like crazy.

These things can drown..! I repeat these things can drown..! i found and tamed a max lvl and it drowned while i was on the deep ocean, Turns out they have oxygen! unlike the barry.

They shouldn’t have an O2 stat because the Baryonyx doesn’t.

Great all purpose mount.on land or in water.If you see one of these in the water RUN.
