I have 5 spinos and they are amazing at lower levels to destroy any competition and if you level a few up they can kill a rex easily. -Kt

When taming make sure to have a buddy or two with you one to get meat. The second one watches the torpor and taming bar. The third one protects the spino.

Press up if you think they should be in the aquatic category.

Eu consegui domar um desses que no final ficou com 140 de level e como já tinha uma rex no nível 240 fiz uma comparação e adivinhem? O spino é só alguns pontos mais fraco. Esses caras valem mt a pena,menos quando estão no meio do mar..consegui antes domar uma spino que ficou com level 210,mas levei ela pra casa andando,estou no nível 58,no final,ela encontrou um fim horrível pois em vez de dar a volta num laguinho decidi me adentrar…que burrice! Aquele laguinho estava ligado no mar cheio de mantas e no final não consegui pegar seu implante,me arrependo até hj da minha burrice. Enfim,se forem domar um desses podem usar 4 portões de pedra é uma armadilha para urso. Não se preocupem tanto com o espaçamento,precisa ter? Precisa,mas vc pode errar muito nele e se der um bug o spino sai e vai pra cima de vc ent se ficar apertado,não se preocupe. Eles vão parecer que estão quebrando a armadilha,mas n estão. Se vc tiver um balm suavizante só irá precisar de somente 1 kibble de argentavis! Se tu n tiver vai ter que fazer umas 16/20 mesmo,espere a fome dele abaixar,mas fique de olho no topor! Por serem criaturas grandes o topor deles baixa rápido. E quando chegar a hora TADÃ! Um spino estará q sua disposição

Guys all I can say about these guys is DONT TAME THEM BELOW LEVEL 130. Below level 130, their health isn’t that good, they are slow for a fast creature, and their melee is really only good for gathering hide and meat from fish and other useless herbivores. Speaking of fish, at low level megs will tear these guys to shreds during your underwater explorations. However, a level 135-150 wild will make the best non-giga tame to ever walk the ark

Everyone says this is better then Rex's and they are, but they are a tank for hits like get a level 250 one and you'll see what I mean because I had 8 rex and 5 spinos when I was fighting the broodmother and believe me if it wasn't for the Rex's I had all my 150 and 200 Spinos would be dead

Great for abb cause a trilbite run gave us easilly 3k chitin and tons of oil and silca

On 3x small tribe servers tame a lvl 100+ in the canyons then go around killing more spinos, easy level up for u and other dinos that follow u. A must have tame.

By far The most usefull dino on the Island map. Tame a pair of 100+ lvl, breed 4 of them, level them up a bit ( 10k hp, 1k meele, and 4k oxigen ) and you can rule the island above and bellow the wather. They are faster than a rex, spend less stamina for running/fighting, and do not use stamina for swimming. Been farming artifact of the cunning ( underwater cave ) with ease, alfa squid of alfa mosa are down in under a minute. Great for farming black pearls, angler fish gel, cnidaria toxin. Nothing can touch them on land eather. What else do one need?

The spino is easily better than the rex as it can swim has a faster bite and further range

They refuse to respond on Lost Island

They are hard to tame due to their speed and topor drop rate but it worth it if you tamed one

With high health and DAT SPEED combine with the damage it deal per hit and attack speed you basically got yourself a exp farming machine or meat farming machine or to be short is a killing machine

Also they are the reason why you should avoid building house near beaches and river except the cliff, they safe... most of the time

My Spino doesn’t swim fast, Any help? I thought they were supposed to be fast in water

These are way better then rex’s, first of all they get a boost if they go into water, second they have 2 forms similar to the iguanadon, it can stand to deal more damage but go a little slower, the mode which sends it on all fours does less damage but has more speed.

They are so good for gather meat, I used one while in a swamp and got so much prime and basic meat, i Had gained over 300 km meat.

Se você quer passar por um espinho é só deitar que ele não vai te ver mas se você atacar ele , ele vai ter atacar de qualquer maneira e para domar ele é só fazer uma armadilha

I just tamed my first spino, then went and slaughtered like four therizinosaurus while taking very little damage so these guys are really tough.

These guys used to be useless before the TLC. But now these guys are so good. Definitely should tame this when you get crossbow and tranq arrows. Also recommend bio toxic as a narcotic necause it is more efficient

I won't say they are better than Rex, but they are... On four legs it's fast and on two is strong but overall it looks awsm take more space to stay(size) than Rex specially when it comes to breeding but I love them.They have no turning radius issue when in 2 legs but they can only stand in 2 legs when you ride them and on land. Buff last 30s enough to kill alfha Rex of same level.

So my spino riptide is lvl 64 5355 hp and 312% melee so what I do is since I gain xp while on him for the stuff he kills I sit in the swamp in the water murdering anything I can find easy XP
