Spino are a very reliable dino i have a lvl 150 tamed it at lvl 5 i have killed alphas with out it dripping below 2k health

Ago one get the health below half maybe a little lower then knock out and starve tame you'll get the taming bonus still plus it's a little faster and you use less supplies, also that way in case it wakes up you won't loose supplies. Tamed a lvl 80 and 55 this way got 25 taming bonus on both used about 30 to 40 percent less raw prime then it says

You have to make the taming boat 3 high walls with a ramp that goes up so it just drops in the 3 high box

Perch atop on a quetzal or find a high rock it can't reach you on and pump it. When it loses interest jump on your bird and pull agro then continue with knocking it out

On the island, the river next to the green obelisk has a consistent spawn point for one of these if you can't find any elsewhere

have a female rex and a male spino, the rex was lvl 25 when I found her and after taming she was lvl 30 and had 2k+ hp without any upgrades, my spino is the 2nd one I found and is lvl 2, the first one I found was a lvl 17 female and a she just ran away cus of torpor and attacking others creatures, but after taming my spino it had 700 hp and abt 175% dmg while my rex had abt 200% dmg when tamed now my rex is lvl 47 and the spino is now lvl 5. they were both extremely difficult to k.o, the rex took abt 50 tranq arrows and the spino took 20~40 darts but the spino took abt 1.5 ingame days to tame since you have to use fish, while the rex took half of the day to tame, I used reg and prime meat to tame both as I had to go get it while they were k.o but I feel like taming the spino wasn't worth it tho, was it worth taming?

You can take a spino using 4 stone Dino gates not behemoth and then place a behemoth bear trap but form a square using three of the stone Dino gates, put a behemoth bear trap in a the middle wait for it to set and when the spino runs in and activates the bear trap put your last Dino gate behind it and start shooting with tranq arrows. HOW TO TAME FOR BEGINNERS

Supplies: A bow or better yet a cross bow, around 10 to 30 tranqu arrows (depending on lvl), a fast mount like an iggy or gal, an ichy fish if u have one

First you need to locate your spino, they spawn in rivers and deltas. Next make your battle plan. If you can not reach it by a ichy fish, use a iguanodon or a gallimimus to ride into battle. (You can also use a flying mount but I would not recommend)It is cheapest to get it stuck in trees or a cliff. Lure it to a place where nothing aggressive will attack you. Preferably surrounded by non-aggressive herbies. As soon as you are ready, use a bow or cross bow to nock it. If it chases you on an ichy into the water, hope off after a shot or two so it won’t drown when knocked. Then feed ur spino FISH if you don’t have any prime or mutton. Make sure you have ALOT of bio toxin AND narcotics. Too much bio tox somtimes will KILLL ur spino if you give it too much so have like 30 narcotics with you wile you tame. Once he or she is tamed lead them back home and you have one of the best dinos in game! 🆙 if helpful

If you see a Spino get a bunch of meat, narco berry's, narcotic arrow's and a crossbow or a bow. Then climb up a steep mountain find a way like a path that you can get up but that the Spino can't climb up. Then start shoting narcotic arrow's at its head and if it run's do not chace it that's a rookie mistake. What you want to do is try to show narcotic arrow's at it when it run's theres a small chance that you will make it fall asleep. If you could not make it sleep. Go in camra mod to see where it is without risking getting killed. Sow you can see its location safly. If you have a crossbow use it to knock the Spino. And done you have tamed a spino safly without any risk of getting killed. 100 likes and i will do the Therizino.

If ur taming an spino u shoud trap it or it will run away way too fast it's pretty simple if u know what ur gonna need alot of tranqs btw

Make a stone tower 5 walls high with a ladder on the inside and put the door on one of the sides of the tower then put a box with 30 tank arrows then shoot the spino with a flare gun then get ready for a month of taming they can take a long time oh and they tame best with raw prime fish but if you have any it still can take a while but it is well worth it and they are very strong and are better than a t rex and are faster than you a t rex to make sure you get flack stuff

Use shocking tranq darts with longneck rifle should take about 5 and use bio toxin for torpor drain, but this is if you have access to a fabricator!

If your a sever admin go to god mode and just tank while invincible

I've seen high level bred spinos kill 250+ gigas

Careful when taming because these guys are really fast so I recommend trapping them or get high ground

On mobile if on a server, if u get exactly 100 percent taming, it won’t wake up. Man my spino is sleepy
