Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a spinosaurus? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a spinosaurus.
I just used a bow to know out. Stood on a high cliff and short tranqs at it. Whwn it starts running away it won't hit you if you keep bring its top or down. However do let it get too far or else its top or i will start to drop and it will attack. Also dont run in front of it, it tramples and deals damage
I caught one of these at level 26 and it took me 2 1/2 hours of feeding it and keeping it unconscious. If your impatient like me, then load up your crossbow and fire away. After it’s knocked out, gather loads of narcoberries, fish and regular meat. Keep the fish in its inverntory and load the meat in with narcos. Switch back and forth to make the unconscious bar go up. If you run out a meat, then I’d recommend a raptor to help you collect quicker. Stay in that area while hunting as you don’t want to go so far. It does slow down the taming when you force feed it the narcos and meat. Patience is the key here. Always keep a dinosaur near you to get rid of threats. Taming early has a big impact and dramatically helps you. Just get ready to spend long hours doing so.
The tame and knockout time is different on console (ps4) along with hatch time, please update for console players
I used a Giga style trap, 3 dino gates and a large beartrap with a fourth gate in my inventory, and it worked great. Can’t stress enough that the torpor timer is hectic to keep up with. Good luck out there guys.
How to knock out: Stay at a high place and make sure u have about 35 tranq arrows and shoot him with about 17 and then it should pass out there is about a 63% chance it won't though
Curently taming a 125 accidently took everthing out of its inventory and taming went down 3 percent in 5 seconds, yet they eat like every minute.
Helps significantly, the size, the teeth, the claws,a great player on your dino team.
When taming I like to go on top of a high rock and shoot it
To complete your taming on any dino( exept for passive taming) it is best that you wait until your dino's (knocked out) food number has decreased to a pretty low number so that it eats whatever you feed it faster to finish the taming quicker and maiximize your dino's levels! Tamed a Spino with kibble crafted a saddle and he glitched to death somehow...
This is the best water/land mount I have tamed. Raw prime or kibble are the way to go. Great for fighting megladons and other sea creatures. I use mine to farm pearls and oil. It also collects meat and prime meat as well as a dire wolf or bear would. Side note: almost nothing will approach you when you ride it. Terror birds literally run away.
What are good stats for a wild one I found a 130 with 3k health and 200 damage
Bring extra narcotics to feed to it because it loses torpidity extremely fast
If you hear your mobile ring and you left it on the boat, run and try to get a tyrannosaurus-rex to distract it while you run like a dodo with a rock up its a**
Tamed 3 in a row, shot it from a distance on top of my Rex.
They are good mounts if u could found a high lvl bastard
On the island, I had a level 1 spino in the way. I used 18 tranquil arrows from a rock ledge after 10 it's started moving away. It took 20:15 to tame. This was my 2nd try. I put 60 raw meat into it and used about 285 narcoberries. When the topor was at 700 I forced feed it 5 berries, this raised it to 734 about. This worked great. Looks awesome among my other Dino's. Can't wait to use it.
If you want dominance on land and water
Get some argie kibble and tame This lil pupper
Bring some narcos coz his torpor drops quick,
Ir else it night wake up and break you like a stick
