To complete your taming on any dino( exept for passive taming) it is best that you wait until your dino's (knocked out) food number has decreased to a pretty low number so that it eats whatever you feed it faster to finish the taming quicker and maiximize your dino's levels! This is the best water/land mount I have tamed. Raw prime or kibble are the way to go. Great for fighting megladons and other sea creatures. I use mine to farm pearls and oil. It also collects meat and prime meat as well as a dire wolf or bear would. Side note: almost nothing will approach you when you ride it. Terror birds literally run away.

On the island, I had a level 1 spino in the way. I used 18 tranquil arrows from a rock ledge after 10 it's started moving away. It took 20:15 to tame. This was my 2nd try. I put 60 raw meat into it and used about 285 narcoberries. When the topor was at 700 I forced feed it 5 berries, this raised it to 734 about. This worked great. Looks awesome among my other Dino's. Can't wait to use it.

I'm gonna be honest. The X-Creatutes are terrible tamed compared to when they are wild. They lose their damage-resistance and it even seems like they do less damage. So in my opinion, it's not worth taming this one. (X-Spino obviously) But hey if you want to tame it go for it. Nobody is telling you what to do.

I’m on mobile, and I tamed a level 15 Spino with no narcs and cooked prime. It actually worked, so now I have an oversized phone holder. Oh, and I was level 52.

I've tamed 2 I. My life and my first died because I made it fight some megalodon's and mantas and it got killed by a megalodon after killing like 10 of each, anyway my second was tamed in a swamp and I made it home on foot with him by my side, (I tamed him yesterday) and I loovvvvvvvvvvvveee him a lot. When taking this guy and you don't have the Dino that can produce kibble for it then i can say use raw prime fish meat from fishing but it use amber but you can get 2 amber by watching ad every 15 minutes.
