How to tame a spino:

To start taming, gather materials, minimum is:

Crossbow (80 Tranqs min)

3-4x stone Dino gates

~50 raw prime fish meat

To find a spino, go to the west zone 2 rivers or any swamp/lake

Find the spino you want, then either lure it to a cliff or simply use a Rex trap.

Tranq it out and feed it raw prime fish or simply just fish

And you now have a tamed spino, here are some of its useful features:

Terrestrial and aquatic; It can traverse land insanely quickly, and swim at the speed of a meg

Hydration buff; Gains an insane buff upon touching any body of water, giving higher speed, damage and health regen

All fours and upright; Can change stances, All fours has immense speed while upright deals ~1.5x damage

Piscivorous; Can eat fish and normal meat, can collect both as well

I was struggling to take one without a trap cause everything was pillored around it. So I got on my flyer shot it got it aggro on me got next to another wild animal and it got distracted, so I shot it until it killed that animal and then rinse and repeat. Hope this helps!

I suggest getting onto a cliff, spam tranq and start chasing it. I can easily do it on a lv 150 Spino at a river on mobile and remember to surround it with spike walls and camp your Spino, or just render it out while it was taming (just make sure it is guarenteed to be tamed afterwards, and feed it soothing balm on mobile if possible). After taming, you will feel unstoppable even against trex. Easiest endgame dino you can get.

So it's been 2 months since I've started to play ark mobile and at first I've no idea where I want to spawn In the map. I choose the South zone ( coz it's showing "easy"), build a base, tames few dinos like trikes, dillos, dodos, diplo and then omeday I was out for farming woods and from high above the hill I saw him mercilessly killing all of my tames. I tried my best to save them and lure him to me but I couldn't 😣😣😣(sniffs) ... Then after getting to a certain level I came revisit him and it was a 145 lvl male spino in green colour. So I decided to tame it. I built a trap with dino gates and run towards him to make him follow me and luckily on the 1st try I managed to trap him. Knocked him out with trank arrows, fed him fish meat with shooting balm and boom it came out as a 219 lvl spino. Look, I like all the tips we have here but you know what I do in my game? I go head on and shoot it to get it's attention and keep shooting the arrows until it falls it's really simple just don't died in the process.. That's all I have to say

So, to tame a Spino you will need 4 gateways, large bear trap, narcotics and tranqs. First, place a trap (like a rex / giga trap), lure the spino in to it, close the entrance by placing fourth gateway. After trapping it, start shooting it with tranqs, until it's knocked out. Put narcotics into his inventory, and collect meat. I prefer getting raw prime fish meat from Sabertooth Salmon, by using Sickle. After feeding the spino with meat, force feed it with Narcotics. His torpor drain is very high. And that's how you tame it.

Now, let's move into his attacks, buffs and other things. First, is hydration buff; when a Spino gets into the water, his dmg, Heath regeneration, and speed are better. Now his types of attacks; claws and bote attack. First, is claws attack; it's losing his speed, to gain more melee damage. It can turn around in that position. Nów, bite attack; better speed, worse damage. Best option to out run danger.

Make a raft trap made of stone you'll be able to trap it with ease I did this and tamed a level 85 at level 31

How I knocked it was I went on a big hill or mountain to where it can’t get me and kept trancing it until when it started to run I shot it again and it knocked and I fed it prime meat w w w w

How to tame:

Be above level 60 for this:

1.Get a flyer like an argy.

2.Get on cliffs

3.Tranq darts and long neck rifle are not necessary, you can use tranqs

4.Get fish meat since it's what they prefer (or argy kibble)

5. Tranq spino from high

6. Tame spino with kibble or fish meat

7. Beg God for a spino saddle BP because it unlocks at level 71

Just shoot it with Tranq darts or tranq arrows and get argi kibble as well as a bunch of narcotics it's dangerous but you won't have to spend recourses on traps

How to tame a spino

1st you need to be level 30 or higher I tamed mine when I was level 40 because I felt like it, if u don’t wanna spend ages crafting Dino gates then you neeed to search for a spino that’s underneath a led

How to tame a spino in 3 easy steps when your lv 1 1.grab a blanket 2.grab a pillow 3. Start dreaming.

I made a farm of them with my lvl68 spino abyss and lvl8 panthera i also have a baryonyxlvl35 to tame you really just get a bary and shoot tranq arrows at it until it’s slumped then put prime in its iventory then boom you got a green mean Rex killing machine!

All you really have to do is get a simple rifle or even a bow. Use either tranq Arrows//tranq bullets around 30+ if its high lvl. Feed it ALOT of raw or cooked prime/normal meat. Or maybe kibbles. Wait afew minutes maybe hours don't forget to bring narcos also get the saddle for your bad boy (lvl 71) planning on taming one but its kinda hard. Suggest making a trap!

If you're on a crowded server, the most difficult part of taming these (other than finding a high level) is the fact that you'll probably have a few people hunting them for their sails, and people seem so desperate to find them that many will just kill it while you're standing right there shooting it with tranqs.

My advice would be to get a couple sails of your own & offer them to the people hunting them so they let you know when they find a high level you want, rather than just killing them all lol.

Get a fast flyer, get on cliff, tranq it’s butt, have fun catching up to it when it runs away. Assuming you’re doing what I do and avoiding traps. Super easy after that. Just protect it

Bruh so I was taking a theri and I went back to get more narcs and when I came back I found one of these dude killing my theri and my petery I died trying to save them but they died anyway

This is a very easy tame.

If you want to tame a low level spino just craft one large beartrap and craft at least 30 tranq arrows and use Master craft bow.

The bear trap will trap it for at least 15 seconds shoot as much tranq arrows as you can at the head don't forget to bring at least 100-150 narcotics and feed it raw fish meat.
