Trap it in a 4x4 pen with a Dino gate on each side except one side put a behemoth gate (with a door). Idk about other people but I use my frog to knock it out. Mutton or raw prime fish meat or kibble. I feel bad torturing it that it was almost low health and let it recover by itself like a few times just to get its food level very very low, so I don’t have to deal with trying to keep it down or worry that I don’t have enough toxins or whatever.

I was lucky enough to encounter a spino in the south-center swamp on island. The tight area made it hard for the spino to chase me and got stuck easily. Took about 20 tranq darts to knock and Lots of gators were around so the prime meat helped tame it in 20 minutes!

Made a 3x3 stone dinosaur gateway raft for Rex and spino taming, Spino kept popping back out after sinking in to the trap, tested on Rex and tamed no problem, spino for some reason just wouldn’t fit in the same sized trap, seems they are bigger some how? Spotted a lvl 147 spinosaur female to tame and no matter how many times I’m forced to retreat and rebuild the raft I’ll keep at it till it’s tranqed and tamed to be ridden. So far I’ve nearly had my imprinted argentavis Little Wing eaten as well as her husband who’s three times her level. The spino it seems can alter its attack rate, it sped up a lot when my birds health got below one third during the taming runs on the 147. They have attention issues making a 3 minute flight to kite to the raft a 20 minute struggle to avoid an allo pack on the upper bank of the river as the river dried up preventing taking the raft closer to my parking bay. She’s currently waiting up river for hopefully the final attempt, fingers crossed take success

A spin-off will actually need way less narcotic, just so you know, and get to higher ground if taming

Build a taming pen, (Find a design or get creative!), pure the spino into there, light it up with tranq arrows.

Once they are on their torpor run, they’re pretty quick so it’s easier with a gun.

Boi I walked up to a spinosaurus thinking i could punch it enough to knock it out an this spino comes and claws my face in when to my base and killed all of my Dino’s I shot it like a million times didn’t affect it al of the sudden it stops moving I go up to it and see it’s dead rip all my Dino’s and spino

If your gonna try to tame a Spino, use a lot of narcotics and bio toxin. I also suggest to go onto a cliff if your gonna shoot it with tranq arrows. WARNING: Their percentage go up like 6 or seven percent for a low level.

Build a stone 10 high pillar and a ceiling on top and sit there and keep onus Tranquilizer arrows or dart to knock it out

Build 3 stone battle ments and 1 curved battlement. Make 10 tranq darts . Find The most beautiful and weak Spinosaurus ( lower levels need 6-7 darts, high .lvls need more

) using pelagirnis, fly and attack it . Then land in battle ments it will eat parasaurs,fly and attack it again .use darts. It will run away but go to sleep . Give some prime fish meat and bio toxins You have got a Godzilla now...

Taming you should get your tranq arrows and crossbow and start shooting and when it comes for you try and hide behind a big animal like a bronto when you know he’s almost unconscious he’ll start running hit him one more time he should be knocked out /killing pike crossbow and get about 4 or 5 triceratops and destroy him

Do not listen to the supposed amount of narcos in needs. It needs way more than 11 for me.

I am taking one right now but I may not have enough food and bio toxin so I rcomend getting100 or more of any torpidity raising item and Fisk meat of any kind of fish meat

Taming one at level 29 the rock wall next to spawn island get a spino below it and stand on top shooting is with the cross bow with tranq arrows and use till it’s sleep and feed raw meat and give it narcotics so it stays asleep

Do not tame in the redwood forest took forever to get it out... I learned from experience.

Get the spin stuck on the bottom of a high cliff you may not be able too shoot it and the tranq arrow and or dart will be suspended in midair if that happens then DON JUMP YOU'LL FALL OFF

Lead one of these guys into a giant metal pen. He then proceeded to launch me over the battlement xD. Died from falling. Went back to get my stuff, but I heard the battle music. Apparently the gate closed on him after I died lmao

Build a trap for it to get stuck in and just in case build spikes (sodden or metal) around you the spam tranqs

On Mobil u can get one after u got a tannery, bird, crossbow, and bio toxin. Dont forget da kibble. Or scream Eric. The latter is harder. Or just get god consel and go to town on it
