I shot it with about 20 traq arrows, but my argy was distracting it. So my tip is to find a high and almost unclimbable rock that is tall so you can just shower that beast with arrows. Beware spinos are really fast, so you can run from it

Get a stego or any other high hp Dino if you’re taming low lvl spino and use it as shield

Dont go craggs island on mobile. Unless u have a rex, raptors will shred ur Spinosaurus and leave ur armor damaged. Thank goodness that for some reason pteranadons can take on high level raptors when u are taming the Spinosaurus. Ugh. Actually, dont tame on craggs island period. Unless its something that raptors dont agro on.

If you wanna tame one early on, get a safe distance and stand on a cliff ledge. Then shoot your little pebbles at it with a slingshot. I’ve done this. It’s a long wait, but worth it. :3

To tame get kibble PLEASE YOU KINDA NEED IT at least 5 pieces bring prime just in case soothing balm works best and no narcotics get bio toxin around 40 pieces get the spino stuck in a mountain a snipe it with arrows or darts at least 40 once its down its easy

Use metal battlements and prime fish meat to tame it . Use tranq arrows and a Crossbow

How I tamed spino

Get metal armour and bird (argentavis) and crossbowed it with tranq arrows and my bird distracts it then it get KO then I put argentavis kibble and one fish meat and I got it

A tip is that if you live on the cliff on the south next to the metal spawns and on the other side of the river, there could be a lot of spinos so maybe you can take one by shooting down at it. There is a small little area on the the cliff where you can jump down and you can be on the perfect area where you can shoot at its head without getting bit. You are right above it. Just don’t fall, can work with Rexes too. I did it on mobile idk if it works on pc.

If you want to kill it,or knock it out low levels make a bow get 40-50 arrows if you want to kill it or 50-60 tranq arrows if you want to tame it then find a tall cliff then shoot like crazy and if it tries to runaway then lay a large bear trap or stone walls, if you are trying to kill put wooden or metal spike walls.Then boom look at you, you get bragging rights good luck!

Tapejara on a cliff face is better than a pteranodon; there’s much less of a risk of falling off the top of the cliff, and once the spino starts running you can chase it easily. Take a tribe mate in the passenger seat to shoot in the air

To tame I took my fastest Sarco and while swimming where I can along with the Spinos aggro I just hip fired with my crossbow. To prevent the Spino from drowning it will always begin to run away before being knocked so while it is booken it time your last few shots for when the Spino is on the land when it is time to be tamed.

If you only have tranq arrows and taming over le 60 give up it will be to fast

Find 450 shit yourself and fill full of tranqs

To tame a Spino I placed down 3 large bear traps, it easily got stuck and by the time it got out it was torpor running. I easily knocked it out but I must warn you bring A LOT if narcotics mine was only level 4 and it took about 90 narcotics to keep asleep. Didn't take too much meat about 6 percent for every one piece of raw meat. If you are looking to find one on the island map on ARK Survival Evolved there were two spinos near in the southern uplands where there are quite a lot of raptors. Bring bear traps, a bunch of narcotics, and some raw meat if you are looking to tame a Spinosaurus. :)

Alright I was in front of one with no stuff at the time I was a noob I thought it was a stegosaurus but no it was a big crocodile so I started to punch it but it did not die my point is it is possible but go ham on him at a higher place then he can climb or Rech and go ham on it with all you long range weapons with trank darts or arrows to ok him sorry about typos

taming this guys are ez you just need 100 trang arrows and a crossbow and a grabbling hook shoot the grabbling hook on a mountain and just shoot the hell of it

If you spawned near a decent cliff, that works. I just had to shoot at the spino with a crossbow and tranq arrows- I forgot how many, but bring at least 50 just in case. it has very high torpor, and it was halfway in the water. I used about- hmm, maybe 30- 40 narcotics? I was just being safe, but it’s best to be prepared. Bring a lot- 50-80. I brought around 90-100. I swam to it with a sarco and used the sarco as a temporary boat to tend to the sleeping spino. I did this at around level 30- it’s not too difficult if you have a decent cliff.

Knocked out a level 15 with 30-40 tranq arrows. Taming it now! WAR MACHINE I TELL YA. ITS BEEN 10 MINS. STILL NOT FULLY HEALED.
