How i tamed a spino:

Full flak armor

10 bear traps

And a crossbow and sone trank arrows

Just bring a sickle with you and a sword so that when you sickle a sabertooth salmon you get raw prime meat.

I recommend getting a female argetavis before taming a spino for the kibles.

Also breed raptors and kill its babies to get raw prime meat 1 baby raptor is like 10 prime meat so make sure to cook it in time and turn it into jerky

I'm at level 9 and this level 21 spino has spawned near my base, I'm going to gather as many narcotics and as much meat (preferably fish) as possible and kill it with tranq arrows in a few days, ☝️ if its a good idea down if its a bad idea

How do I knock it out

Spinosaurus is my favorite dinosaur So if you hat spinosaurus you’re dead

How to kill this monster:

Shoot it with a crossbow in a cliff or kill it with a pteranodon. Make sure the cliff is high enough or not it can climb

I have a level 11 named Tim, and when he was wild, he was near Cragg's Island, and I was at level 24. I got my crossbow ready to kill him, but I was accidentally on tranq arrows and not stone arrows. So a bit after, he was unconscious, but I thought it was dead so I started hacking away at him and got scared when I heard it getting hurt, not the relief of meat chunks falling off, it's a good thing I'm a cinidaria hunter, or this would be a story of me dying

To knock out a low level one all you need is about 20 tranq arrows, a bow, and to be fast.

To tame let it starve and I fed it raw meat and raw fish meat.

I made a watchtower to tame them 🤣

Only breed if you are up to waiting and staying online for around a bit over 24:00hours because that’s about how long they take BE WARNED

Whenever you tame a spino make sure you have narcotics and or biotoxion I used biotoxin and I only used one also tame with prime meat instead of normal raw meat it tames much faster I tamed mine with two prime meat

So just make a bunch of bear trap about 2-4. I would recommend 3 tho. So you shoot your spino with a long neck rifle (if your using tranq arrows then do the same thing you would use for a theizno trap because you don’t have a Time limit like you do bear traps, AND PEOPLE MAKE A THEIZNO TRAP OUT OF METAL IF YOUR GOING TO TAME A GIGA!!!) and once he gets through the bear traps he should be running away so then just follow but keep you distance just in case he turns around or if you have more bear traps place them down and spy glass em to make sure he gets knocked out just place thos bear traps just in case he comes back around.

When taming make sure not to take everthing out of inventory because taming percent will go down FAST.

Look near rivers and then make sure you get it's attention. So you can fly or run to a cliff and shoot it from a above. The spino can't hit you from the cliff or mountain

Spinos don't like to stay asleep taming a lvl 8 took 100 narcotics and a couple stacks of narcoberrys. Hope you found this helpful.

use 4 small stone dino gates and a large bear, form a U with 3 of these gates n a bear trap in the middle, lure the spino into the trap and once trapped place a gate behind the spinos legs and then knock out and tame.

When making the trap make a 4x4 base with 3 height made of doorframes and keep a line of space beetween doorframes to make economy on materials.

After doing this add the ramps and opposite to the ramps raise by one more thatch doorframe so that the spino won't jump out.

Spinos are easy to find most of the time they spawn at Area 1 in the Island that’s just have a find him to knock him out just shoot 31/100 times With tranq arows

These guys are op.Pratically nothing stands in its way(almost) getting these early game is incredible.these guys are way to fast for a giant lizard which makes it extremely hard to shoot at.If one starts to run away do not chase it down, unless you know it's running away because of torpor.In my opinion these are better than the rex but harder to tame BC of movement speed.
