Best way to tame one of these spinos is...

1.get to a mountain high enough to prevent the spino mauling you.

2.bring around 100 trank arrows and go ham.

3. When the spino starts running chase that mf down and hope it gets into a corner and hope it’s not it self trying to reposition it self

4.when knocked out feed a whole ton of meat bring hundreds of narcos biotoxin works very well (doesn’t decrease the knocked out dinos health)

5.when tamed after 30 mins enjoy the mayhem you can cause across the map

Find one by itself, they’re wether in dangerous area’s or next to dangerous dinos, shoot from a high place, they run quick and it’s too risky to shoot from ground, these ARE NOT like rexes, they’re better and arguably scarier. I reccomend a flier mount with lots of weight, but if you don’t like mounts then… put stone BEHEMOTH gateways, NOT doors, at least 3-4. Then add 2 NORMAL sized dino gateways, or do extra behemoth gateways with doors on each end, bring the spino in through one without a normal gateway into a normal one, then try to distract it on the side with the normal gateway then place the second one behind it. You then have it trapped and know you can knock it out! I also recommend bio toxin seeing that’s easier to get and narcotics take a while longer. Enjoy your spino!

Tame a low level on ark mobile

All I did to tame one was grab like 20 trank arrows and find a cliff with my flying mount and lure it there, so easy to tame, also makes it easier when you get a 10x soothing balme for free

Get some prime meat, shoot this thing with shocking tranqs from a cliff or flying platform saddle or sm, wait till it’s knocked, make sure there is nobody nearby, give it the prime, put some biotoxin in (for if it’s torp gets low) and defend it. Once it’s tamed, throw the saddle on it, and just make sure that ur near a water source for its buff. Great battle creature, definitely recommend for mid-early tame

These things are hard to tame. I just can’t keep them asleep long enough to eat the meat

When knocked out. Dont leave them unnatended. A stupid dilo came and killed mine at 70%. Wasted allnmy biotoxins and prime meat

I would recommend using a flyer and finding a high rock then tranq Shove raw prime meat Down it’s throat and use a SOOTHING BALM PLS

Ok i use this taming method on rex, spino, and giga. You’ve got to pack ur self a flying mount, tranq arrows, crap ton narcotics, four metal billboards, and a bear trap. Set the signs up in a square near the spino. But LEAVE THE LAST ONE OUT of the circle. Put the bear trap in the middle. Lure it in the trap while on ur birdie and he’ll get stuck. Quickly place the last sign behind him and then fire away!

So its massive and intimidating but not that hard to tame. I have customised my settings abit cus I'm only solo player so my strategy may vary in effectiveness

I was in gloom grove- lost island, there was a waterfall and a hill too steep so he had nowhere to run either side; i took just under 150 tranq arrows and my journeyman crossbow, 163% dmg and 215 durab, I had around 70 trans left afterwards cus I missed afew shots

what I did was fly up to top of valley and build a foundation and catwalk to look out to shoot safely untill he was running then I parachuted down and chased him on my megalocerops (stag) cus hes fast, knocked him, killed any dangers and waited to tame, he was lvl 150 and I used 6 prime meat,

now i use him primarily to get Pearl's and oil from leeches right next to my cliff base, might not be 'the most efficient' to gather them to the pros out there but it's an easy 500 Pearl's and 2k oil in 3 mins running round and spamming attack :)

If your thinking about taming one of these bad boys just make a row of 8 large bare traps and in each column put three four large bear traps so when they get out of the first bear trap they get trapped agian

These guys are Easy to tame because it only takes 4 to 10 tranq darts. One spino spawns at the weathertop region at the bottom of the map with a giant cliff you can stand at and shoot the spino at the bottom of the cliff.

Best way to tame these, is to build a 3 x 3 stone platform, then put stone door frames 3-4 tall all around it. Then, build a ramp up one side and lure the spino into it. I prefer 4 tall walls, but 3 tall should work just fine.

Fastest way to tame it is step 1: tame a dire bear

Step 2: take ur dire bear to swamp cave on mobile

Finish swamp cave it’s the ez cave

Step 3: get the artifact go to the tribute therminal tribute it and hope for a soothing balm if h don’t get it don’t worry swamp cave is ez and the artifact Tesla an every second so try again and then ez put the soothing balm in Thera inv and use it then feed berries I got 2 soothing balm on three times if finishing the cave it’s sooo ez👍🏾

you will need: fish, crossbow, tranq arrows, tame helper, narcotics and a flyer. (you can use a gun and darts) if your looking to tame one of these go to the big green metal thing in the sky and there is a little gorge around the center. find a spino and lead it in (make sure it’s not to far away) and you can shoot it and once it goes down hop on ur pteranodon, quetzal etc and fly down give it some fish and tame helper and narcotics and depending on the lvl u will have it in 1-20 mins FUN FACT: the big green thing in the sky i was talking about if you have a dinos implant and enough amber (it will say how many in the bottom right of the text) and you go to the green, red, purple/bule thing (idk what they are called lol 😅) in the sky you can revive the dino (WARNING: idk wether it works on computer but i done it on my iphone with a horse and it worked!) hope u enjoyed! For trap you need only dino gate he cant go out from that and spino can easily jump from 3 hight wall use dino gate and for ramp use foundation for one side 4 wall hight required

In mobile RG kibble or prime fish meat recommended

Always fortify ur base when u see a spino around that area like me I'm fortifying it because the spino came from the back to the front al.ost near my base use spike walls and dino gates best and have a trike because spinos like to walk if u know that u really want to tame it or u hate them for killing everything if u do ur just like me😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😄😄😄😄😏😏😏😏😏😏😏

Tip when taming spino:KILL EVERYTHING NEAR THE RIVER EXCEPT THE SPINO cuz the Spino will kill anything that gets too close,it’s one of the creatures to prefer targeting wild creatures then tamed creatures meaning even a para can be an annoying nuisance and for god sake don’t let it target a massive herd of high level trikes or a theri (even low levels can be very annoying) I recommend a trap once u trap it just make sure no random dimorphodon comes along and call it’s friends once injured trust me I have experienced that before.
