When knocking them out, u just need to sit on a small ledge that they cant climb and shoot them and once u do that, put raw meat and bio toxins. Why bio toxins? Becuase u can force feed them toxinsto keep em knocked out. Ps, i dont know if u can force feed on pc or console. (Im a mobile player)

If your looking for one on ragnarok there is a canyon near the jungle part of the area and down there is lots of water and spino’s are everywhere where so be carful and they spawn around water that is more water then land around, I would recommend to lead it farther into the land because when u hit it it will run into water and pass out there and lots of them does not have enough oxygen to take in the water.

To tame make a 2x2 and put door frames around and ramps to go in lead the spoon in get out shoot it

Use a trang arrows with a cross bow and when is is sleepin g put a lot of fish meat and row meat and prime meat to tame it and go to sleep 2 thats how I tamed my spin up if this helped?

One word they are op I tamed one before and I could one shot basically anything.

These bois are op and usefull, many of them can prob beat the brood mother! But to tame them.. is hard, you need 300 or 400 narcotics if needed and especially bio toxins since they are usefull i tried giving that spino 1 narcotic then i saw it slowly rising up like it gives 300 torpor slowly the last time i tried taming a spino i saw it woke up staring at me but it dint charged since i was far- so dont do the same and give them prime meat or prime fish meat (up if you want to share this to ur beginner freinds)

How to tame:

(IMPORTANT: HAVE MAJOR SOOTHING BALM ON HAND OR THE TAMING PROCESS WILL BE SLOW.)

Instructions: Find a Spino, and then request your tamed creature who can deal the highest damage of all your tamed creatures. Also request your Mesopithecus if it is not with you already. Have your Meso riding your shoulder, and get on the creature you have requested. (Recommended to use Gigantopithecus or Therizinosaurus) Run at the Spino and attack it until it is at half health, at which point it will get scared and attempt to flee to preserve itself. Tell your mount to stop, set it to passive, and make it ignore whistles. Whistle your Meso to target the Spino so that it throws poop at it which slows the Spino down on hit. Shoot it with tranqs until it is knocked out cold. Once neutralized, give it fish meat, and major soothing balm. You should only need to give it a few helpings of bio-toxin. Hope it helps.

Bring boi toxin u get it from jellys I have never tamed one but you definitely should I had 2 in my area didnt even think you could tame them I was always told by my brother to stay away from them then yesterday he said I should tame one but now I can't find any.

You can take them like this

Place a few large bear traps. Have it chase you into the traps. Once caught shoot it with tranq arrows. BRING A LOT OF NARCOTICS.

Large Bear Trap > Lead it in to it > Tranq Darts (not arrows) > EZ Game, EZ Lyfe. Also, sooi worth getting prime fish meat to tame it. Trust. Me.

Spinos are way faster since the TLC 2 patch, so if you are shooting it from a cliff they are a pain to hit and when they run away it is almost impossible to keep up. If you ko it, try to do it by the ocean and have a water mount with you so you can get biotoxin from jellyfish because it is the best option considering how fast the torpor will drain.

Go to the river that's in the south then on your boat shoot it sail away then repeat. Knocked out a decent level by doing that.

Always fortify ur base when u see a spino around that area like me I'm fortifying it because the spino came from the back to the front al.ost near my base use spike walls and dino gates best and have a trike because spinos like to walk if u know that u really want to tame it or u hate them for killing everything if u do ur just like me😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😄😄😄😄😏😏😏😏😏😏😏

Tip when taming spino:KILL EVERYTHING NEAR THE RIVER EXCEPT THE SPINO cuz the Spino will kill anything that gets too close,it’s one of the creatures to prefer targeting wild creatures then tamed creatures meaning even a para can be an annoying nuisance and for god sake don’t let it target a massive herd of high level trikes or a theri (even low levels can be very annoying) I recommend a trap once u trap it just make sure no random dimorphodon comes along and call it’s friends once injured trust me I have experienced that before.

Ok but why is this guy's torpor drain not considered extremely high? MAX LEVEL TORPOR IS DRAINED IN UNDER 30 MINUTES!!! If you think so too, then you know what to do, the color green should appear in your eye, when you tap the arrow pointing to the sky. I hope all the survivors pillows are cool on both sides the next time they sleep.

Best way to tame one of these spinos is...

1.get to a mountain high enough to prevent the spino mauling you.

2.bring around 100 trank arrows and go ham.

3. When the spino starts running chase that mf down and hope it gets into a corner and hope it’s not it self trying to reposition it self

4.when knocked out feed a whole ton of meat bring hundreds of narcos biotoxin works very well (doesn’t decrease the knocked out dinos health)

5.when tamed after 30 mins enjoy the mayhem you can cause across the map

Find one by itself, they’re wether in dangerous area’s or next to dangerous dinos, shoot from a high place, they run quick and it’s too risky to shoot from ground, these ARE NOT like rexes, they’re better and arguably scarier. I reccomend a flier mount with lots of weight, but if you don’t like mounts then… put stone BEHEMOTH gateways, NOT doors, at least 3-4. Then add 2 NORMAL sized dino gateways, or do extra behemoth gateways with doors on each end, bring the spino in through one without a normal gateway into a normal one, then try to distract it on the side with the normal gateway then place the second one behind it. You then have it trapped and know you can knock it out! I also recommend bio toxin seeing that’s easier to get and narcotics take a while longer. Enjoy your spino!
