For noobs just get to high ground and spam tranq arrows with a bow recommendation-acendant and make sure you have sooving balm x10-15 done and then make sure you have a pertodon.

And congratulations you have a spino (but to bad you don't have a saddle unless you got it from a advent)

I tamed this guy using tranq arrows and bio toxins. If you use narcotics you must also have to you prime meat or smoothing balm but with bio toxins you can you fish meat and raw meat. About 35 bio toxins should be a enough

Looking to tame one? Head to aberration or the ab cave on Valguero. Aberrant Spinos are everywhere in there, and they’re always very nice to look at because of that glow

Trap the spino by making cage i don't know how to build it but see on youtube he it in the cage and then sleep and then tranq it it's food level will be 0

Trapping it with bear traps or a trap that holds it forever is essential bc when these guys are about to go down they run like hell, and fast.

kibble takes more time to tame then prime fish meat?

Get a flyer and get the spino argro, land on a cliff and shoot it with tranqs when it runs away chase it on ur flyer get near it and land then shoot it again repeat if needed!!

Spine taming is very easy. Just shoot it in the face like it killed your family and keep running for a few seconds. Then repeat. Worked for me.(Btw, I also got one by tricking my friend! I simply lured him to a spino, bola to the feet and used him as man-bait!!😎).

Where he's found? He would be found at shores (INLAND WATERS most commonly)

•You should have a crossbow or a high lvl bow with tranq arrows. ALSO A HELLA NARCOTICS, since its got High Torpor Drain.

•Make 7 wooden Dino Gates before going to tame him, carry it with you.

•Before going to attack him clear the area of any obstacles such as rocks,trees etc. coz our spino boy shows crazy psycho movements . Once you clear the area you're gonna place 6 dino gates with little spaces between them(place them kind of circular). The last dino gate will be placed after luring him inside.

•Go provoke him somehow, lure him into the gates. He'll try to eat you and prolly you'll lose health coz his head comes outta the gate and bites ya. Now go place the 7th gate fast and voila!!! He's caged in. Slightly move away from the gates and aim the tranq arrows at his head and shoot. After he's knocked feed him preferred Raw Prime meat or Kibble.Also put a lotta narcotics into his inventory.

You could also give him the normal Raw meat[ IT WOULD BE BETTER IF YOU HAVE A SOOTHING BALM.i got a normal one when i finished a mission(sry i don't remember which) YOU CAN BUY SUPER SOOTHING BALM AS WELL AS MINOR SOOTHING BALM from the store if you have a couple of amber]

All I did to tame mine was:

Get my sarco boi

Get narco, meat and tranqs

Find spiney boi and take them to a river

Swim around in circles on your sarco

When you are far away, shoot them with tranqs

Repeat until their knocked out,

Feed them food and use your sarco to fight off any dinos

Then go back home

You need a high level sarco bc mine 44 and can kill Anything ;-;

These guys are great I had one lvl 20 though and it died to some bears I play on aberration mainly so beats a super common but it died it also drowns when knocked out in the water I have a new one now lvl 30 and life is good

If you’re on a mid-level, ( much like me, I’m on lvl42. ) I recommend using a crossbow and bringing at least 30 tranq arrows, at least 40 narcotics and 2 stacks of fish meat ( if you don’t have prime fish meat or kibble. ) then, just find a far distance and shoot at it. When I tamed mine earlier today, I died once but then I managed to get my things back and finish it off until it knocked out. Once the unconscious metre reached half, I fed her some narcotics and she was fine when I kept on doing it. You might want to bring extra narcotics just incase. My taking time took about 15-30 minutes and was actually okay. My spino that I tamed was just hogging the river near my base so I decided to tame her. Now, I’m free to fish!

Prime fish actually tames quicker, but takes more than kibble, but you can easily kill some salmon and get tons of prime fish. A leveled up moschops might help.

Make sure to bring lots of biotoxin

If u want to tame it,just set trap,they did run form my wood spike,i was go to check my second base(that not complete yet),the spino try to break the wood fence,bu it ended with him running away after a few sec

Fırsat at least get a crossbow and narco arrows

Second get high ground or build a tower that is at least 9 walls tall

Third arrow it until it start to run away if its stuck you good but if it has free ground and runs aday start chasing it with a sarco

or any fast mount

Last Tamer it

Use soothing balm and put fish meat in its inventory

If u are on the lost island u can just camp above the spine and tame it with no problem.
