When i met this thing i ran but when i shot it with my arrow it only had 700 health and it's lvl 3 so i killed it and got prime meat

How to Tame: first get a saddle lvl 71 or tame for fun doesn’t matter second get a longneck lvl 35 and 150 tranq darts lvl 62 and narcotics lvl 6 third get a crossbow lvl 25 and a grappling hook lvl 47 fourth find a spino get on a ledge with your grapple then shoot it and keep shooting if it runs away follow it and keep shooting until it’s knocked out put your taming food in and bam💥 spino tamed😎😎😎 sorry if spelling is incorrect I’m Asian 😶😶

I was going to tame my second spino i wanted to bread it with my lvl max male and i used my baryo as a mount i get to a clife and shot it with trank arow and then i fall of it i was imaging it killing my bary so i taked my 300damage sword and taked him down

It's very easy to tame a spino even if your low level

First- get a carbonymes and make it like 2k hp the find the spino you want to team but it has to be like level 10 or low then make your Dino target it in the mean time you spam tanqr arrows on it after some time it will run just chase it and hit it like 2 or 3 more times and it will be knocked out give it the 10 x smoothing blam and put like 10 meat in it and there you got your self a easy spino

If you want to kill dis creature you will need lots and lots of arrows and you also need hi ground dat is hard to klime

Hi everyone this is how I tamed the spino in singleplayer ( I am level 80 something)

What you need:

your gonna need a Diplodocus and a Diplodocus saddle and pump the Diplodocus into HEALTH so it doesent die. Also get a Longneck rifle and tranq darts. (Optional) Use dododex and select the spinos level and see the amount of tranq darts it will take to knock out. Also bring like 90 narcotics or more OR a lot of bio toxin ( dododex will give details about how much it will need, and put its level in before checking )

Instructions

Now set your diplo to Neutral and get in passenger seat in front of spino, command it to attack spino or aggro it ( stay in one of the back passenger seats so the diplo keeps aggroing the spino before it hits you ) and start using tranquilizers darts on it. once the spino starts running dismount and chase and shoot it until it falls asleep ( dismount because diplos are slow ) and bring prime meat or kibble or use( raw fish or raw meat if you bring more bio toxin or narcotics since they tame slower and decrease effectiveness ) and wait for tame

IMPORTANT: DO NOT LET ANY AGGRESSIVE DINOS ATTACK THE SPINO OR GET NEAR IT, IT CAN RUIN EFFECTIVNESS.

If your still reading you can stop now thats all i have. Heres a story. A ichthyornis ruined my spinos effectiveness and I sacraficed it the end.

Spinos can deal more damage than a Rex but the reason they aren't preferred for boss fights is because they have less hp and will die

To tame:

1. Find spino

2. Hit it

3. Run

Trick it to attack a Long neck shoot it with Tranks till it goes unconscious use the meat from the long neck to tame it.

Ok so if you want to tame dis b use tranq dart it takes to long with normal arrows and just like felix said in his tip feed it fish meat now you are good to go

Step 1:raged all day look of one

Step 2:have a shot 100 tranquilizeing darts

Step 3:take the lives of fish’s

Step 4: feed the spino the fish and if it going to wake up give it narcotics.

Step 5: have a good friend to make you a spino satled.

Unfortunately not entirely better than rexes they cant enter the tek cave but they are good

Spino is better than Rex, but the problem is Spino is much harder to tame compared to Rex, Spino is really fast on both land and water making it harder to catch, while Rex isnt that fast. Spino's torpor also decreases faster than Rex.

But that doesn't mean Rex is Better

I used to be scared until I released it had a relatively low torpor

Spinos don't have much torpidaty so make sure you have a lot of narcotics but it does depend on the level

Spinos are really good but to people who are saying there better then the Rex, they are not the Rex is a tank with high melee the best in the game before some of the new add ons like ossidon

Can someone tell me how to kill spino

Get to level thirty go on a tapejara if u have one or a big rock start shooting it with 35 tank arrows and u only need like 20 bio toxins wait and boom u got a spino
