How i tamed a spino:

And a crossbow and sone trank arrows

Just bring a sickle with you and a sword so that when you sickle a sabertooth salmon you get raw prime meat.

I recommend getting a female argetavis before taming a spino for the kibles.

Also breed raptors and kill its babies to get raw prime meat 1 baby raptor is like 10 prime meat so make sure to cook it in time and turn it into jerky

I'm at level 9 and this level 21 spino has spawned near my base, I'm going to gather as many narcotics and as much meat (preferably fish) as possible and kill it with tranq arrows in a few days, ☝️ if its a good idea down if its a bad idea

How do I knock it out

These could work as an alternate boss killing army, particularly in the Broodmother arena due to there being standing water.

Also PRO TIP: On one of the wikis it says the Spinos get their buff from placing full water jars in their inventories, but this is not true. It only works with standing water like laked, rivers, or puddles

A bit faster than giga

Absolutely faster than raptor

Think about how fast they are

Only thing is, they cant fly (love your flying dino)

On aberration I found a 135 145 breeding pair so I bred up some twins and me and my mate went into the red zone and got a 150 rock drake egg and made it out in on piece. I recommend having around 10 to 20k health and also the element rivers give them the hydration buff.

Who else thinks that X Spinos should spawn on Lost Island?

Find recently started breeding X Spinosaurus and I come out with even better stash than before which makes them even better than the Rex because it in my point of view they are a better breeder

Tamed spinos are absolutely amazing at gathering meat, hide and they can take on everything aside from Alpha Rexes , Gigas and Titanosaurs (obviously) .

Its a great meat runner speed boost and does a fair bit of damage better than giga try it.)

Spinosaurus is my favorite dinosaur So if you hat spinosaurus you’re dead

How to kill this monster:

Shoot it with a crossbow in a cliff or kill it with a pteranodon. Make sure the cliff is high enough or not it can climb

One time a spino came out of knowhere and started attacking a trike then about 6 more came and trike stunned him then when it fled I ran after it my pistol blazing it died within 4-5 shots got lots of experience. So the lesson is Let other things fight then you go kill it.

Plus whiplash and tsunami don’t let haters off the hook that easily

I have a level 11 named Tim, and when he was wild, he was near Cragg's Island, and I was at level 24. I got my crossbow ready to kill him, but I was accidentally on tranq arrows and not stone arrows. So a bit after, he was unconscious, but I thought it was dead so I started hacking away at him and got scared when I heard it getting hurt, not the relief of meat chunks falling off, it's a good thing I'm a cinidaria hunter, or this would be a story of me dying

To knock out a low level one all you need is about 20 tranq arrows, a bow, and to be fast.

To tame let it starve and I fed it raw meat and raw fish meat.
