1 stack of raw meat lasts 30min on babies

Spinos are a pain to deal with if you are just starting out. My advice is run for the hills.

Little known fact their swipe attack on 2 legs is ever so slightly weaker than a Rex's bite but is also way faster than a rex bite and if in water is ridiculously faster than a rex bite. Add in the fact that they're twice as easy to tame as a rex as long as ya have the narcotic grab some raw fish it's the easiest thing to get other than berries and grab yourself the highest level you can itll be well worth it I promise I have loved every spino I've ever had, everyone who's had one that I know of love them

210 movement speed won’t save you. Oh you have to swim? ...lol...

I tamed him with narcotic it took about 10-17 it was not so hard to tame but knocking it was the hard part for me

I hate my life it take me 2 hours to tame this

If your bringing narcotics bring arond 52 just incase

I recommend going for a female first. For eggs, they give good nutritions. I should know. I stole one that a Spino laid after it killed my Carno. Then get a male, and make a Spino ARMY TO TAKE DOWN THOSE PESKY COMPIES.

OK here’s a good tip do the hunt piranhas and get soothing balm and find one of these knock it out put fish meat and there you go.

I wish spino's had tek saddle. In my opinion, a spino tek saddle would look pretty neat.

I have a spino named Riptide... she is amazing i use her to hunt all the time, These are great tames, not kidding, why are people saying these suck?!?

Can't outrun them, but if u need them to leave you alone run around other dinos. They get distracted super easy. To tame just aggro them into a behemoth trap and fly argy out top. Close gate. Tranq away. Boost their health once tamed.

Look around the rivers I found 2 AGRREIESVE as f spinos both male one 95 other a 145 on medium wild

Build a small stone room of stone with a reinforced door so it can't get in and make some openings in it so you can tranq it out from inside and stay untouched. Once knocked out use fish meat or kibble, if not just use meat but don't cook anything because it takes longer, uses more, and reduces effectiveness.

When knocking them out, u just need to sit on a small ledge that they cant climb and shoot them and once u do that, put raw meat and bio toxins. Why bio toxins? Becuase u can force feed them toxinsto keep em knocked out. Ps, i dont know if u can force feed on pc or console. (Im a mobile player)

I too found a 140 but female spine in penguin pond as well. Was stuck in cavern.

If you don’t have the resources to make a trap you can use the huge rocks that border the red woods and river territory where spinos are. BUT you could make a perimeter around it after you knock to make sure a gang of raptors don’t come and massacre you
