So when I was walking around my tamed Stegosaurus, he got attacked by a Spinosaurus. R.I.P. for Stegosaurus😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Luckly, my other Stegosaurus killed the Spino:)

New players might underestimate this dino once they see them fighting in wild... They cant turn around so fast.. even after tamed if they are following you they behave like stupid... But once you put the saddle on he is all in your control.. he spins around way fast... Just like other small dinos! I am happy to get this beast in my list

They spawn in every region in the Aberration DLC

If you see one that is on the beach if you can get at least a bit away from the beach

These guys spawn at a low day at drayos cove Southeast corner of the map 👍 so people can see this!

Note that they cannot fit into the Tek cave unless you cryopod them past the entrance.

Real easy to knock out. Use stone dinosaur gates to create a semi circle. With a fast mount agro the spino and run through the gates. Tranq spinos from the safety. Advanced players will have a door closed behind the spino so it can not run when near being downed

One question what’s the best place to find them?

People stop saying their unless here’s the reasons

1.they do not roar before they fight

2.spinos have fast claw attacks but deal a lot of damage

3.they have a water buff like the tropical wyvern double dmg regeneration hp and etc.

4.have can swim fast than a rex

5.they can get prime meat and prime fish meat better

6.these boi’s are deadly when you have a lot of them

In my opinion it is better than a Rex, it get hydro buff and can swim. Also is probably faster idk for sure. Also just overall looks cooler

Forget traps I have tamed 2 with a cliff. Get on top snipe with crossbow and stone arwow then move to tranq arows and boom he is down

If you play on mobile just use soothing balm and you won’t need any narcotics / bio toxins

Extremely easy tame (for low levels)

Saw a lvl 10 near my base whilst travelling with my raptor to go sarco hunting. It was fighting an iguanodon and didn’t notice me. I decided to try shooting it with tranq arrows, not expecting it to pass out second arrow. 10x soothing balm, only took 2 pieces of prime meat. And now I have a lvl 10 spino. Only 50 more levels for its saddle.

(Don’t waste your time planning traps, just shoot and run)

However much narcotic you plan on bringing, bring more. I'm talking like 400 - 500 narcotic if you're taming with prime meat. These guys' torpor goes down almost as fast as a beavers, so be prepared!

Rexes Are highly utile they can gather alot,Have high weight,They are better for tanking with a decent dps

Spinos are highly mobile they can swing,Run fast and a good amount of stam,That are better for dps with a decent hp

The best tame Under level 80 for mobile! Its Hand/paw/Idk attack at two feet stance makes it unbelievably powerful since its knock back renders even alpha rex/raptors useless since they dont get a chance to attack! Plus its amphibious!

I play solo easy (new to ark) and I tamed a level 95 (170 after tamed) and it killed just killed an alpha raptor level 50 easy with no hp loss! Tame one as soon as u reach level 71!!!
