If you decide to take your spino for a swim NERVER go near a Cnidaria, no matter how high your spino is they will paralyze you and it and you will have to sit there watching it VERY slowly die.

When this dino is in low health or will get knocked out this dino will run super fast,you cant even keep up so I suggest to build a trap to tame this

before you think about taming these things recommended Using a trap because some people really think a 10 pillar tall thing not its not a good idea since the spino will run away. after you almost have it. and this thing is wayy faster than you think so either use a Trap or if your on gen2 don’t use a trap since you Can LITERALLY Fly and TRANQ it

The Spinosaurus has a great attack reach and knock back. Keep them in front of you and your mounted Spinosaurus can take on large groups of medium to small dinos with ease.

Honestly, these things seem content to attack anything and everything. I just tamed one without it landing a single hit on me, and I was standing STILL. (...on the back of my Rex so I had a height advantage to my tranq dart range. And protection just in case.) All I did was stand there firing my darts. She came towards me, but then got distracted to kill a Dilo. By the time she'd snaked her way round to me, she was so high on torpor that she turned and started to flee, not before I stuck a couple more in her and finished the job, though.

If you receive a spino saddle blueprint from a drop while your lower than level 71, craft it as soon as possible, regardless of the grade of the saddle. You won't regret it.
