Spinos are really good but to people who are saying there better then the Rex, they are not the Rex is a tank with high melee the best in the game before some of the new add ons like ossidon

I used to be scared until I released it had a relatively low torpor

Spino is better than Rex, but the problem is Spino is much harder to tame compared to Rex, Spino is really fast on both land and water making it harder to catch, while Rex isnt that fast. Spino's torpor also decreases faster than Rex.

But that doesn't mean Rex is Better

Spinos don't have much torpidaty so make sure you have a lot of narcotics but it does depend on the level

Can someone tell me how to kill spino

To tame a spino there are 3 Easy steps

1:get on high cliff with spino at bottom of it make sure it’s high up enough that it can’t hit you trust me based on my experience

2:make sure you halve at least 20 tranq arrows if using bow I suggest a bow the most though

3:get smoothing balm that helps a lot and balm or not use raw prime or normal fish but if you only have fish you should have at least 30 narcotics just in case

4:once tamed treat well always have fish in there inventory and just love you’re spino

Get to level thirty go on a tapejara if u have one or a big rock start shooting it with 35 tank arrows and u only need like 20 bio toxins wait and boom u got a spino

If you see a pears if you see spinosauruses and if you have structures on you build a trap the thing make a cute make a cube two blocks tall don’t block block and don’t block the bottom one in and he’s the one that’s in front of you on top music for a window Use it for a window and if you have any a bow or a rifle loaded with all the drink that’s if it’s a high enough level that you want it you can take it out but if it’s not you can kill it and then when you have it trap the spinosaurus trapped you can make a little another little wall and then get it all trapped all the way in

I found one on island and i was low lvl so ran away and I want to go back but a raptor killed me so bye!!!

Spinos are very slow on ground but very fast on beaches use this weak to tame it.

OMG!!!! I am a low level, but I tried to tame one of these and it destroyed the stone walls, the large bear trap, and kept going in circles! Is it just me, or is dude glitching?

Steps to get this dude

Materials/items needed. Chain bolas shot gun or crossbow optional and a ton of raw prime meat and wooden club basicaly anything to knock out fast.

Step 1. Chain bola it.

Step 2. Use shot gun if your using it till low.

Step 3. then wooden club it till knocked out.

Step 4. Feed it, use narcotics if needed.

Step 5 name it.

Done got a spino high levels ar hard but allways high level or low level.

If you’re looking to tame a spinal, here’s a tip do not tame it in the water it will become a demon so take it on the box he get when he’s in the water is more more damage

Whoever says the spino is stronger than the rex is dead wrong, the spino is not only slow but squishy maybe if bred enough they can be strong, but theres no reason for a creature of this size to only have 4500 health at level 215 after being tamed.
