So for mobile players this is for you if you have like let's say a lvl17 ,18,19or 20 lvld trikes don't use them against a spino I learned that the hard way so pls don't do it

Use maybe a pterodactyl and land somewhere high enough so it can't reach you or maybe make a trap also use tranq darts or arrows

When you tame these dinosaurs be SURE to bring 40 or 30 narcotics I was trying to tame this dinosaur once and it woke up so I fleed and made sure never to make the same mistake EVER again ;-;

You should get a Spino. Beware of them if they are in water, and your low. You better gets some arrows and tranqs. If you are caught by them and low, you are screwed.

For taming, since they run away super fast, a good trap is a 3x4 stone foundation with door frames that are 3 high (they can walk over 2 tall) with a ramp leading up. U might need some extra supper pillars for the ramp at the bottom depending on the land u use tho. Make sure its semi close to the water or the spino will lose interest. Then u can just lure it in, its pretty wide so it should he easy, then u basically just shoot it until its down. Ez tame. Dont forget to brung narcotics tho.

I FINALLY GOT A SPINO YEAH BOI I NEED NAME SUGGESTIONS THO and no i aint copying schwalbe im a fan my spino is red with a white sail

So.. i found one of these near me after i spawned in, Thankfully i didn't agro it But after a while i started thinking it will be a future threat, I wanna tame it but er.. im only lv.10 so not much can be done, I have 10 dodos they all have 40+ health some of them have 50-60 health And 5-6 Dilo's All 150+ Hp, 2 otters, And a Lystro, i'm planning on killing it but i once saw it kill a bronto which Has Like 2000+ health even if its low level.

Since latest update spinos will die before being knocked out using crossbows. REALLY wanted one but now seem impossible to tame

I dont know if its just me but a spino destroyed my stone house but it is stated that they dont damage stone

These barest are very strong and stronger then a Rex but taming is easier than Rex but use a crossbow is a good way to knock it out and I tamed one by making it attack a turtle and running on paurasour

Get on a hill or find a deep river and shoot them from down there and make sure they cant reach you both underwater and on hill

It is Just Baryonx without sail... (And there are stronger than Rex)

Tips on taking a spino! (Easy-ISH :'D)

1 come with 100-200 tranq arrows,crossbow or bow and arrow,useing a how and arrow,bring at least 5-10,do to a spinosaurus excellent speed,it is hard to aim,and is smart,I used crossbow

2 Find,and lure the spino u like to a cliff or ,but remember,be close to the river.The spino goes to different prey if you get to far,the farther from the river it is,the more passive(I guess)

3 Shoot the traqs in head,heart,or body,until it runs away,but be prepared,do to its fast speed and sharp turns,you NEED a fast creature

4 Once knocked out,feed raw meat,fish or prime,if you have no prime and are near water,get fish,it likes fish more then raw meat,if not,just hunt a dinosaur on land,but be prepared,the torpor will drop fast

Enjoy the Spino,I tamed a spino with light blue,dark blue,and sea blue,plus a splotch of baby blue

Here is tip for taming a spino! First grab a raft and get 5 stone pillars and 5 ladders. place the 5 pillars on the raft upward and then place the ladders on the pillar so you can get up. step 2 find spino/spinos and knock it out! (Make sure to bring at min 50 narotic ) and this has more then 1 use. I will do rexy

Lol how do people think this better than Rex with no reason?

1. Rex is much more tanky

2. Rex actually has kind of more stamina than Spino

3. Rex would beat Spino in a mounted fight (People who match them probably rode the Spino and took off the saddle of the Rex, also who fights with A.I.)

4. Much better for boss fights because it’s versatility for fighting

5. Doesn’t have to spend ALL of the time in rivers so all terrain

6. Rex has a roar which stuns creatures and makes them poop

7. Speed is actually decent and damage is higher per hit

Stop blasting untrue facts, the Spino is more overrated

It’s so fragile, and can easily be killed. Rex is much better at tanking. Plus its stamina drains faster than the Rex. Not good for boss fights.

DAMAGE IS THE ONLY SPINO CAN DO!
