Tutorial on how to kill a spino as a noob on ark:

Step 1. Get a bow and some arrows, use dododex to find how many you will need.

Step 2. Get on a really high and steep rock so the spino can’t reach you.

Step 3. Fire all your arrows into it and try not to miss.

P.S. bring backup arrows and don’t miss

A tip with taming a spinal trap it and a big box then just shoot it a easy peasy way and make sure you have crap ton of prime meat cuz it will go bad very fast and Clapton biotoxic please and thank you read my tip

When in water I saw it kill an alpha megladon so if you got one it should survive water cave.

These are supposed to be rare, since they share their spawn pool with fish, but I found like six in a short distance from each other so Idk what to believe...

Please please please just use a trap! These things are surprisingly fast, have high torpor drain, and aggro on everything under the sun! Once they start running, you'll probably never find them again, especially if they run into a thick forest. The trap makes things so much simpler.

She climbs over foundation traps on ark mobile, learned the hard way. Use stone gateways and bear traps. Tamed a level 240 this way

Honestly best tame in my opinion. It is fast on land and water and has bipedal and quadropedal modes. It is stronger than a rex. Tame over rex.

It will be OP if you can shoot arrows fron a flying dinosaur. I am playing on mobile but not sure with PC/console. Can Pc/Console shoot arrows from a flying dinosaur?

Find a spino ( they spawn in redwood water and other water place)

Find a great spot ( but carefull they strong fast and can climb big roack) like in the rock

Start ataking him with tranq arow ( you can wait until spino hunt so you can atack him savely

Wait until he unsonsious and give him raw fish meat

Or argen kibble

Use a crossbow or better.Kill all the fish in a river if you cant find a spino.once its torpor gets high rnough it will start running but its only fakeing when u start chaseing it it will turn around and try to kill you.

Crazy spino killed me all my tames and broke my base and me like a 1000 times

This is for god console users so all you have to do is turn on invulnerable and keep shooting with crossbow toxicant arrow or tranq idk what you want it’s your choice but for me I will spam the fire button and boom you have a spino

(wild) Spinos are the worst. But I have never tamed a spin-off I would imagine that they are amazing. But wild spinos are terrible. All they do is kill everything that moves around it. Other than other spinos. So one of them killed me and made me mad so I went to go get my stuff and I spotted an egg. I chose the stupid idea. I didn’t see the spino so I went to take its egg. And somehow it didn’t chase me. And I set up base on a island that has a big forest and a big swamp ( if you don’t understand then I live on a island that is in the big island) and it’s infested with spinos raptors Titianboas baryonyxes carntos and, I call them death birds but they are therinzasuarus. I think I spelt that wrong. One time I saw a wild spino fight a bronto and three alpha trikes and it won. This is my encounter.

All I know is to not try and run from one it won’t work they can run 5 times faster than you. but what I do know is that you have to use a giant trapdoor so number 1. Build your house on the bottom of a hill. 2. Find a spinosaurus then make it run after you but make sure your running speed is at like 300% . 3. Jump down the hill into your house then open the small door not the dinosaur gates. 4. Tranquilize it then badda bing badda boom you got yourself a spinosaurus.
