One time my freind and I decided we should move base locations

So we built a raft we threw all of our dino's on it and set sail through the river(witch led into a swamp). We were Noobs and a spino killed us and most of our dinos luckily it ran of and we got our gear back. We only made it out with a trike and a dilo (the trike had most of our stuff luckily). To this day that raft sits in that swamp waiting to be rescued.

Here’s how to tame a spino

1. Get a ptramadon

2. Get it’s attention

3. Soot it with trank arrows or trank darts

4.tame it

Careful, the QUADRUPED spinosaurus is very aggressive.

I just used a bow to know out. Stood on a high cliff and short tranqs at it. Whwn it starts running away it won't hit you if you keep bring its top or down. However do let it get too far or else its top or i will start to drop and it will attack. Also dont run in front of it, it tramples and deals damage

I caught one of these at level 26 and it took me 2 1/2 hours of feeding it and keeping it unconscious. If your impatient like me, then load up your crossbow and fire away. After it’s knocked out, gather loads of narcoberries, fish and regular meat. Keep the fish in its inverntory and load the meat in with narcos. Switch back and forth to make the unconscious bar go up. If you run out a meat, then I’d recommend a raptor to help you collect quicker. Stay in that area while hunting as you don’t want to go so far. It does slow down the taming when you force feed it the narcos and meat. Patience is the key here. Always keep a dinosaur near you to get rid of threats. Taming early has a big impact and dramatically helps you. Just get ready to spend long hours doing so.

If you are a player in aberration there should be plenty of spinos

One of the most badass dinos ever it is able to kill anything including the T.Rex

While it does not yield an overall higher DPS than a rex (the higher rated comment got it wrong), it does attack much faster and is more agile than the rex, especially in water.

Razorsharpspino it is very good

This is the best to kill gaint crabs on aberation chitin for life

They don’t acro easily, I stood about 3 feet away from one and I was fine til i stepped under it, They are terrortorial so don’t be afraid to run past one while it’s eating a fish or something, just make sure you run fast if it does Agro.

The tame and knockout time is different on console (ps4) along with hatch time, please update for console players

Just hope it goes to the ocean and gets eaten by a swarm of megalodon.

I used a Giga style trap, 3 dino gates and a large beartrap with a fourth gate in my inventory, and it worked great. Can’t stress enough that the torpor timer is hectic to keep up with. Good luck out there guys.

How to knock out: Stay at a high place and make sure u have about 35 tranq arrows and shoot him with about 17 and then it should pass out there is about a 63% chance it won't though

Bring a bird to any river, lure it by shooting tranqs, when it's chasing you jump on your bird, find the nearest cliff fly to top, shoot it from above, keep your bird close but do not enable follow.

Curently taming a 125 accidently took everthing out of its inventory and taming went down 3 percent in 5 seconds, yet they eat like every minute.

Helps significantly,the size,the teeth,the claws,a great player on your dino team.
