Here’s a tip for beginners. Spawn on the south beach but choose a good spawn point. This is the point where you go in the ark wiki and check where the spino spawns. If you don’t lol ur ded. Go to the river where the spino is rarest I would recommend staying near the entrance of the river which connects the to the ocean.

This is just a general taming tip u don’t have to bring most narcotics and narco berries u just kill a few cnidarian jellyfish and u have the ultimate narcotics they better than the usual and easier to make

Obviously they spawn in/near rivers or lakes, just stay away from any body of water 29m close to it and it will leave you alone doing whatever it spinos do in this game. Which is probably killing any person or creature that was doing the exact opposite of what I just told you.

Fully mutated, you can simply FORGET about Giganotosauruses. The mutated spino CRUSHES IT. If you don’t have a spino, GET ONE RIGHT GODDAMN NOW. They deal significant damage, they are semi-aquatic so they are fast underwater and are just godly overall. Oh yeah, I forgot to mansion, THEY ALSO WRECK TITANS.

I was looking for one of these beasts while on my Baryonyx I shot a couple tranqs(20 or so) I had to chase it for a bit until it was knocked, then I just tossed like 20 toxic goo on it like 2 stacks of raw fish meat, and I also slept to speed up the process(on mobile)

When low on narcs. Bonk em over the head with the club. It decrease the added bonus lvl , but as long as you catch who cares?

Spinos are really easy if stand on a cliff and use torpor arrows on, like I did two the first one was pain to get there I was running and sleeping bags were close in case of im dead then when I got there it was he below I was top second as eazy it just right there in front of the cliff and boom i got them both.

This thing is DEADLY. This coming from the guy with a maxed out lightning wyvern and full tek. Do not engage! Especially when Ando tells you not to.

All you really need to do to tame these guys it trap them, the way I did that was with 4 stone dino gateways and a bear trap all you have to do is place the gateways in kinda a u formation kinda spread apart not touching so it’ll actually fit the guy in there then just get a bow and shoot him to get him to chase you run though it he’ll get stuck in the large bear trap and then place the last gateway behind him he took about 15- 20 tranq darts depending on the level

Taming a spino is a kinda hard. I managed to take one though. You'll need prime meat, fish meat, mutton, or just meat. I'm using prime meat and fish meat. Then you'll need tons of narcotics. Depends on the level. I prefer you to use a longneck rifle with tranquilizer darts. They run away fast so you will need to ride a fast runner and chase after the spino. They can spawn in the RedWoods. I hope that was helpful!

It's very easy. Just have 40 arrows and a crossbow. Make sure he is not able to hit you.after he is knocked out, feed narcotics and meat.An absolute 30 minute tame.

Just hit it a few times and lead it into a Dino cage. They can’t fit through Dino gates, so make two parallel walls and one on another side. Lead the Spino in from the open side and then place another gate behind it. Good knockout, but he quick! USE ARGY KIBBLE ON MOBILE

Hers is a short good name for your spinosorus. Name it Rex's Dad.

Get a raft, build a lil tower about 4 walls high, go near it and shoot down. Easy to knock out then just hive fish meat and lots of narcs.

First you need to tame a pteranodon then fly above its head to Luehr it in then fly to your base make sure it is following you and don’t have any tamed dinos in your base so the spinosaurus won’t eat anything then you get out some strong things to knock out this guy then you need a hunger potion and some raw fish then you can tame it happy taming😀

One time I was looking for explorer to level up I found this 3.7x saborthooth salmon and all of a sudden came out a level 50 female spino. It started attacking the salmon and I had barely any time to escape.so I decided to bring my spino(spiny)I helped out with my brontosaurus it was really close spiny almost died

During my second day on the island, I encountered one of these beasts. So I hopped on this app and found how many tranqs it would take to knock it out. It was a level 18, and with a normal bow it should have taken 20 before it was knocked out. Needles to say 36 of them to the head was not enough.

I have only tamed one and on the way back a dam level 250 Rex appeared out of nowhere and did I mention that the spino I just spent 30 minuets feeding it narcos waiting till the food bar drop down to 100 and gave it all my kibble to it was level 45 just died in 5 hits with only doing a quarter of damage to the Rex so sad and then I died
