When you see one try to stay away while looking at it. These things are energetic and might randomily encounter you. They will not go after you like a Carno or Raptor , more like a Theri, if you get too close Spino will attack.

When making the trap make a 4x4 base with 3 height made of doorframes and keep a line of space beetween doorframes to make economy on materials.

After doing this add the ramps and opposite to the ramps raise by one more thatch doorframe so that the spino won't jump out.

I own a Spi I Beacuse one was right next to my base what happened is I was chilling with my dodo and trike I decide I need some metal I am about to cross to the island when I see this level 21 Spino at this moment I’m level 28 I decide no I’m not going to run or kill it I got my bow with tranq arrows there i sat waiting on the ledge eventually I got sight of it I shot it right in the arm it got angry. Came towards the ledge and I kept shooting it I noticed in my top right it said free gift it gave Me a taming balm eventually he gets knocked out in the water I panicked then realised he is fishasaur and fed him all my meat and my tame balm it took 1-2 mins like so noobs can see……………………………………………………2 months later 3 spinous are around my base I recently aquired a long neck sadly I don’t have knockout bullets bye bye spinous

Great for abberation blue zone and great hide and meat harvesters, tame two 150s and breed about 7-10 of them for a drake trench run

Spinos are easy to find most of the time they spawn at Area 1 in the Island that’s just have a find him to knock him out just shoot 31/100 times With tranq arows

I CANNOT BELIEVE MY DINOS so this is what happened…

So one day I was growing my Dino’s like I always do and I got killed while riding my parasaur and my parasaur also got killed aswell by a raptor so I didn’t hesitate to get all my Dino’s to get revenge on the raptor bc my parasaurs name was Icey and she was the daughter of my two first parasaurs that died and a mother to many of my parasaurs left but that’s when I took one wrong step and the nearby spino came running at me and I put the target as the spino bc I was scared but also regretted it but a few minutes later IT WAS KILLED?!?! I was so happy and was freaking out bc that meant I was stronger than any Dino weaker than the spino so after that I just sat down and relaxed to the bloody screech’s of the raptors that were getting beaten by my Dino’s that’s the first time a spino has been beaten by a pteradon, Parasaurs, Dilos, Carbonemys, iguanadons, and a dodo may the dodo lord watch upon me as for my Dino’s killed the spino without harming a single dodo even mine🥹☝️

Spinoes are very good at launching dimorphodons (I mean groups of them) out of the sky. If you ever want to tame a spino, DO NOT BRING YOUR DIMORPHODON!

So just make a bunch of bear trap about 2-4. I would recommend 3 tho. So you shoot your spino with a long neck rifle (if your using tranq arrows then do the same thing you would use for a theizno trap because you don’t have a Time limit like you do bear traps, AND PEOPLE MAKE A THEIZNO TRAP OUT OF METAL IF YOUR GOING TO TAME A GIGA!!!) and once he gets through the bear traps he should be running away so then just follow but keep you distance just in case he turns around or if you have more bear traps place them down and spy glass em to make sure he gets knocked out just place thos bear traps just in case he comes back around.

Y'all, to find spinos on Ragnarok just go to the plateau canyon thing. Also beware baryonxs also spawn in that area.

Got one waaaay on the left of my base and it seems pretty chill as it has ran up to me while killing a dodo, killed it relatively quickly, and it was still right next to me, so I still hold fear and respect but like, I feel like taming it with my tranq arrows, doubt it’ll work but it’s worth a shot.

I have not found eny spinos but everyone is saying they are in the aberration zone on volgario

When taming a spino make sure you bring at least a 100 or 200 norcotics because they tend to wake up quickly and also make sure you are on a higher ground because spinos can't climb steep hills..then you can knock it out with tranq arrows....

For a low level spino get full chitin armour and tank with a crossbow.

Rex’s and spoons won’t attack eachother. Even if one accidentally hits they other they won’t attack if they are both wild. They will also team up to kill another Dino.

Multiple tranq arrows...try around 20 and a mastercraft bow or along the lines...Taming Balm, prime meat, and at least 10 narcotics just in case...(It was done on a lev 1 spino...so...)

Better scoot before it sees you.

If your using a cage use a turtle to attack it then whistle back the spino will attack the turtle but the turtle should lure it close enough to knock it. Used this method to get a male spino to make a high level breading pair raising child right now

Watch the torpor level when taming!!! Dodoex can be wrong sometimes!!!
