Spino is really dangerous but it is my favorite dino, really strong, the first time I found one it was in "The Island" on the beach where I started, supposed to be a safe place... The Spino just decided to start killing every living thing he saw, it even killed 3 Megalodons at the same time after a massive killing spree on the beach, that thing is crazy!

Now imagine me at really low level trying to kill/tame a Spino mudering everything it saw 😂

The best way to tame them is with about 200 narcotics and tranq darts and raw fish meat but you usualy want to tme in a tribe

Just have six dilos and four turtles, they took that sucker alive when he tried to mess with me. I will forever be greatful for them

Spinos are harder to tame than rexes because 1. They are faster, 2. They deal much higher damage on 2 legged stance and much faster at dealing it too

First of all: Get your strongest unit and head to a Spino. Second of all: When you see your creature getting more bloody than the Spino, Distract the Spino, Go to your base & get your army prepared, once the Spino comes whistle at the Spino & fight, helping your units is a great solution if you start losing whistle all your guys and run away with the guys. Find a powerful unit your 100% confident you can take down, feed it while it’s unconscious, head back to the Spino then send your overpowered army to it use all your strength to rather tame it or kill it.

Pro tip: Tame one that is a high level that way your creature will gain more health every time you level it up (when you upgrade health)

Tbh the aberrant spino is op fir ne at a weak lvl it was the most powerful weapon for the green zone

first get some materials to craft some structures and make a trap if you dont know how to type how to make a trap for a spino then if you know what to do now go back to the game and do what exactly that guy did

I’d prefer taming on gen using: a high durability cross bow with tranq darts extraordinary kibble and ascerbic mushrooms so go up in air with the tek jetpack shoot it till it goes to have a dream wait till hunger goes down a bit and then feed it the kibble

These can take out an alpha raptor or an alpha Caron

Step 1 find spino

Step 2 get like 12 shocking tranqs

Step 3 knock out and feed raw fish meat and give it bio toxin for narcotics (from jellyfish)

Step 4 enjoy your new pal

Step 5 find an annoying alpha creature

Step 6 sneak up with full stamina and have your spino on 2 legs

Step 7 spam the attack button until it dies and use knock back to your advantage if you time it they can’t lay 1 hit on you!

Step 8 celebrate that your spino gained like 5-20 levels! :)

To kill a spino you should yous a flamethrower or

fabricated sniper rifle and gile stuff if you get in a long chase go away from your home and don't go in the water or in a super flat area try to keep it weaving in and out of the rocks in the forest and the trees be safe and take no chances in ark

If you want to tame these beast but your not a high level try looking for one that is near a cliff then go to the top of a cliff and rain down tranq arrows.Use prime meat if you have any of you do not use fish meat and soothing balm

Ok so on my single player (moblie) i explore with my pterodactyl (its autocorrect) and on EVERY SINGLE river there is a spino wtf dude i do avoid them so there is a good sign

If you play on ps4 and have speed when tamed all the way up go in water and go into the land and you will lottery fly across the map not on mobile unless you only level up speed 😎

All you need are some tranqs and a sword and a sickle, oh and armour. Knock out the spino (anyway you would like to do it). Then punch a sabertooth salmon and wait, be prepared for battle. All the sabertooth salmon will start attacking you, I like to call this a "party". After you kill all of them with your sword, or really whatever you want, use the sickle oh then and get HUNDREDS of prime fish meat. Now take that spino!!!

Wooden spike walls don't help against keeping Spinos out, just does additional damage. Trust me, multiple Spinos and Brontos have stepped over my walls, but still took damage because of them. I've killed... Maybe 4 to 6 Spinos now, thanks to the help from the walls?

The best way to tame a spino is get a tapejara and switch seats make sure your tapejara is on follow and shoot the spino with tranqdarts

I will say it again it spino's make rex's piss themselves sorry for language

The classic 4×4 trap doesn't work on mobile, it has to be quite bigger. What you can do instead is use 4 dino gateways and 1 behemoth gateway(with gate) in a circle and lure the spino into it and close the gate. The dino gateways don't need gates.

While it doesn't have the raw stopping power of the giga or the health and stamina of a rex, the spino has been my preferred mount mainy due to how fast it can move, especially with the hydration buff and it's potential for being a cheap alternative for killing alphas if you don't have a high lvl rex or giga. I have killed Alpha Rexes with a Spino on numerous occasions.
