To level your spino fast, make sure it is very strong, swim to carno island, then kill everything.

First you need to have atleast 30 narcotics a good amount of fish meat and traq arrows but I recommend using raw prime fish meat because it tames faster with raw prime fish meat. How I tamed it is I shot it then ran in-between rocks and trees then when it wasn't chasing me jo more I shot it again and I kept repeating that untill it was knocked out then force feed it some narcotics and put some fish meat or raw prime fish meat in there and wait and after that boom you have a spino.

Find a low level spino and spam your tranqdarts with the crossbow and make sure you have good movement speed, then you don't necessarily need a trap.

On mobile it sucks for prime fish meat, it gathers prime meat much more well. Get prime meat with this, not fish meat

Spinosaurus is not only my favorite animal in real life but it is my favorite creature in Ark. I think Scorched Earth is the worst map because it’s the only map without these. In Aberration they spawn in every region except the surface.

I have tamed 2 of these guys when I was around lvl 35-40s. Find some near rivers, find a good rock and shoot them (with tranqs of course) to knock them out. It helps to have a flier eg. pteranodon to move between rocks.

You can also use your pteranodon’s twirl ability to hit low level Spinos in mid-air so a higher level may spawn in it’s place.

Too tame it you just have to get on a high enough cliff so that it can't hit you then start tranqing it and when the spino runs peruse with something that flys

Spino's are powerful anyone who says rexes are better has not used a spino they are faster and stronger they can also swim. Don't use rexes unless they are ur faves. Spino's are just easier to use. They won't die just because something gets behind u. Rexes will die to anything that gets in there blind spot, they are frustrating. Rexes are good amount I just will never use them if I don't have to. My main mount is the baryonyx.

For tames, I think these things are really good. They are fast on both land and in water, they have the might of a quadruped and a biped, they have good HP and good damage, and they get a water buff. BUT, I really need some help. I need 10 spin-off sails for summoning the alpha megapithecus, but I only have four and I can’t find a single spino. I tried killing all the water creatures in the rivers where they spawn but I still can’t seem to get any. I need 6 more spino sails, but I can’t get any. Spino have an enormous turning radius. You can use this to your advantage. If a spino chases you run inland or toward a bunch of trees. The spino will get stuck on the trees and then turn around running in a full circle to reach you. For some reason even though the spino is large enough to knock down trees it will turn around and run in a wide arc attempting to reach you.Just be mindful of other dangers inland like raptors and carnotaurus.

If you see these near your base get off the beach/away from the water you don't need to be to far away just a safe enough distance

I used a high lvl Bred mutated spino to run through the valcano on Genesis. I had a 200+ saddle

Ok they are not able to tame on my ark because they have 1 hp
