Sinomacrops are found around forested and coastal areas and are tamed by offering chitin from the last inventory slot when they approach, then patiently tracking and feeding them again when they return. As shoulder mounts, they enable gliding, gaining altitude, improved water travel, equipment use, and emergency escapes; their scream deters many small predators, while consuming chitin helps restore stamina. When encountering wild ones, avoid chitin armor and nearby insects or other chitin-bearing creatures, protect vulnerable tames such as dung beetles, and prepare for their fear-inducing scream.
