To whoever said just cage it, it doesn’t work that way not that simple.. but they are super easy tames if you find the ravine in the jungle on lost island there is like 10 in there for super easy taming

These scare away noglins . I reccomend you keep these near your base so your tribe mates don’t get noglined or keep one with you in pvp

The babies eat chitin when you hatch them from eggs they always eat chitin

Once tamed, the sinomacrops can half the weight of any item in the game

They are literally a jetpack just watch stam and hunger p.s feed them chitin.

sino are flyable in Aberration Map , let's everyone know this helpful. And super carry reduction for almost everything ... You can equip human helmet let it be tanky and cute...🤣

These things are amazing for taming yuti’s, you can just fly around and shoot it and watch it roar a good 20 times

They are pretty much a discount Tek chest piece, you could use them to get a high ground in cercomstances, they can also scare things and apparently it's scream does damage! So you can use that as a fear plus damaging aoe (area of effect). I hope this helped!

It's a total game changer. As long as you can jump you can still jump the bird can lift you up.

For PC: Pick up with -e- so it sits on your shoulder. Hold -space- to flap its wings to fly, press -c- while in the air to glide (look around with mouse, steer with -a- and -d-, hold -shift- and press -s- to ‘dive-bomb’ and gain speed, press -x- to enable ‘parachute’ mode and float safely down to the ground!

Hold -r- when it’s on your shoulder to access its inventory. You should also enable ‘auto scream’ and ‘auto scream only when aggrod’, so it may scare away smaller threats such as dilos, pegos etc.

Go to the little pools toward the center of the map with one of these little guys and let them scream all the leeches dead, harvest for a ton of chitin and oil and pearls

I would say this is the most useful tame in ark. As it allows tool/weapon wielding flight as a pssive abillity, gives extra carry capacity on your person and makes all knockout in the game do-able solo with little effort.

They are a shoulder mount that act as both a jet pack and a glider. Great for stealing eggs, because you can hop in, steal, and hop out, without really needing to worry about fuel because it is organic. Fun to use good to get around maps.

Haven’t seen any tips saying this.

When putting an item in a sinomacrops’ inv, for example crystal it will halve the weight. When on your shoulder it halves the weight again! I tried it and 50 crystal was 12.5 weight!

For console players (more specifically PlayStation ) you can hold square and you will be able to access the sino’s inventory without having to place it in the floor
