Bring a dolphin so it follows you, bring it to the top of ocean, mini game time use sickle an remove leachs in a timely fashion then feed it wait an do it again etc (Looks like it's a kibble tame exceptional or extraordinary it's like a bronto takes a while.

Tamed a lvl 140 on official servers x2 event,

Dododex estimated 22 extraordinary kibble, i used 30. Come prepared.

According to the dossier, now available on Discord, the method of taming is as follows. This hulking leviathan is a passive tame, however, to initiate the taming process you need a ‘school’ of Ichthyosaurs ( you’ll need a certain number of Ichtys to create the ‘school’), these will act as a distraction that enables you to do the next stage. Next, using a sickle, you swim to barnacle nodes on the Shastasaurus and harvest them. Assumably (since it doesn’t sate otherwise in the dossier) you have to repeat this several times.

It’s 4x rate, and trying to tame a Shasta and had to use 15 extraordinary kibble to tame it. So the amount here on dododex is wrong info

1.tame a dolphin (ichthyosaurus)and ride it

2.go to the shasta and it will do some communication with the dolphin

3.then it will follow the dolphin so make it follow you to the surface of the sea

4.there will be some things attached to the shasta's body and you have to remove them using a sickle

5.after you remove them go to it's mouth and feed it the kibble

6.repeat until tamed

Tame a dolphin, swim up to it and bring it to the water surface, that initiates a mini game with leeches that are on it, use a sickle and hit the leeches off, then swum to mouth and feed it extraordinary kibble, job done, just make sure there is no danger around, if it gets hit, taming % goes down to 0. Happy taming!

If you mess up the taming effectiveness, knock it out and wait for it to wake up again. Their torpor drains fast

Only tames with extraordinary kibble. Don't waste your time trying anything else. You'll swim away in shame.

Lvl 90 took 14 extraordinary kibble on 3x event, official servers

It is important to mention that:

1. you need to be NEAR its face to start the mini game but you don't need to be right in front of his face there is quite a bit of range to it.

2. It's highly advised to stay at some distance to the Shasta as it's collision is kinda screwed. If you are to close to it, it will swimm without care right into you. And if that happens you'll get stuck inside them.

3. Their babies eat exclusively fish meat. And a crazy amount of it at that. 2 of these babies ate 6.000 Fish meat in 2 hours so plan a lot of meat runs if you plan to breed them

Tamed a 85 on 3x thought 10 kibble was enough but it wasn’t. 15 kibble did the trick. Hopefully this helps.

Recommended, bring a good defense dino that you can use to protect your dolphins, and bring atleast two dolphins more dolphins gives you more time to play mini game.

On the Center they like to hang out on the ocean in front of the Red woods forest 2 to 3 always around wait a few minutes while in the area remember you have to give a chance for stuff to spawn I play on official

Have to have a dolphin tamed to bring the Shasta to the surface. Once at the surface you can start the mini game to remove leeches from the Shasta with a sickle. After removing the leeches you can feed it (kibble recommended). Rinse and repeat this cycle until it is tamed.

Ain’t no way asa is gonna make the center actually good

I don’t see this mentioned, you have to be ALONE with it to get it to tame properly.

If you’re duo taming your mate needs to be out of render otherwise it can screw with the minigame. Only one person can trigger it and scrape. If you’re not the one who triggered it you’ll just hit the Shasta and it will reset the minigame & affect effectiveness. Also, hitting it doesn’t drop it to 0% as of 6/23. Just tamed one today.

By one picture I saw it can carry you like a submarine and can store dinos like thezonisoris ,maybe carnto,alasaurus,ect.and I think it'll be good for center for sure,and name idea big chungissub

Only tames with kibble. You can't tame it with anything else.
