CL1 is most definitely not “stupid”, random person. She (I believe she’s a she, so far as I know; correct me if I’m wrong, please) is a very incredible author, one who can get inside the heads of animals and humans alike and write incredible stories about them.

There are plenty of authors who have animals as the main protagonist, and it makes sense for them to be able to speak, no? That would be boring if it were to have no words.
