In ASA just knocked a level 18 out with tech gun and tamed

first: do not use rpg. the explosion gives off splash damage depending on your angle of fire, which ultimately decreases it’s taming effectiveness.

second. the thing was so slow, i ran forward and continued harvesting me fiber. but ngl, the rock boulder hit me so hard, it took me 3 respawns to get that loot back 👍

also for those who didn’t know (like myself) the boulder it throws? it bounces 😑 i tried to emote and “you were killed by Rock Elemental - Lv 70”

I got to close to one while chasing after a sabertooth, this thing came out of nowhere and killed my morellatops. And I had no ground mount to use to get back to my base, I will forever hate rock elementals.

You can’t clone them sadly don’t waste your time

How to tame

Grab a rock

Rub steroids on it

Make a rock human out of it

Wait for a few hours come back and then you have your rock

I have played ark since it was new and this thing is the hardest thing I’ve ever tamed(cuz I have never tamed the following four Titan ice Titan forest Titan and desert Titan)

Feed him some stone of fruits

I recommend getting a few friends trapping this this thing with metal Dino gates (Not behemoth) and shoot this thing with rockets. Remember to bring extra rockets and rocket launchers and to always keep moving whilst taming so you don’t get hit by rockets and Good Luck!

Trapping a golem is the safest way also feed the sulfer if you don't have kibble.

Tried with the M.S.C.M, the rock golem died. I think blast radius is too much, it kills Golem. Be careful on!!
