4. Fly to any mountain

5. Get off flyer when see one rex

6. Make sure area has no other carnivores

7. Start shooting rex with Tranq darts

8. Give taming food

Step 2 find a rex

Step 3 have a Slingshot about 8,9

Step 4 you have about 250 rocks

Step 5 hit him he will run

Step 6 follow him by constantly hitting him by hands or Slingshot

Relatively easy to tame easiest with a long neck rifle with some tranq darts I'm about to go to tame a level 93 right now so ya

One of the easiest tames to get in ark actually its so easy just shoot it with tranq arrows for like 5 Mims and there u go

It takes 3 socking trang darts to take a tek rex down I'm taming 1 right know its level 4 it's hard to tame if its tek carnivores. I wonder if you can breed a normal male rex with a tek female rex? Who knows? Please up this so you can see it

Here’s a tip. When you unlock wood dino gateways and stuff grab 4 pickup a dodo lead it in while’s you trap it! I only recommend this for a low level as you probably don’t have tranquiliser arrows so get 10 slingshots and a dodo go collect stone and use it the dodo is for if the rex is dying or something then go get biotoxin from jellyfish(Cyhindra)! And then ……………………. BAM!

Hey guys should I tame one of these beasts because I have 20 tranq arrows and a couple bows (preparing to make a crossbow)and I’m lvl 44 so should I tame one….up for yes down for no

2 ways to do this.

1. Use a pheromone dart on a bronto or make the Rex attack your passive bronto, then knock and surround it with spikes so nothing gets to it.

2.build a tower 10 stone pillars high, then shoot it.

Any tips on tek Rex feeding like how much mutton a 180 takes on 2x?

Im not sure whats going on, but I just tamed a Rex (level 110) with only raw meat, and it only look about 45 minutes. Maybe I ate something that made it go faster? Idk. I don’t think I did, I didn’t craft anything for taming lol. It took about 150 traq arrows for it to be knocked out. According to Dododex, it should have taken 3-4 hours? Not sure whats going on.

If u want the fastest way to tame em? (Mobile)

Knock out:

Use some bow and toxicant arrow for newbies

Use long neck and SHOCKING dart for high iq players

Taming:

Use some prime meats for newbie

Add some (at least ×10) shooting balm if u need tough...

Some bonuses

Use narcoberrys! That will hold for like 100 torpors (i think when i played) but!

If u feed em that it cooldown like 10 or under...

Use narcotics! It will not cooldown..

I’ve managed to take a few at lower levels by shooting them from the top of a cliff, no trap required, just shoot in a lot of tranq arrows fast so it doesn’t have a chance to run
