Get on the back of an argy and shoot it down. Then circle it (dont be near it as nothing will attack it, it will attack you and hurt it) , then wait for it to tame. I hope you found this helpful!

I got a rex… FINALLY I CAN CONQUER THE WORLD the rex is high level 145 im so happy :) ark aint always so bad but the i hate knocked out creatures despawning but i got a rex and thats all that matters

Best way to tame is on a taming boat.

Once knocked out you can move the boat away from shore. Dino might not agro on the Rex, but will agro on to you and if you're near the Rex, could accidentally hit it.

I know hundreds of people have already said this, but get 4 stone gateways, and a large bear trap. Put three of the gateways down in an open box format, and the large bear trap in the center of it, lure the Rex of choice into it, and once it stumbles into the trap, carefully get behind it and place the final gateway and now the Behemoth is stuck, just load a bunch of Tranq Arrows/Darts into it and tame it

When it's down all you should be weary of is the players

Ok I tried to know it out with the tranquilizer arrows it killed the Rex how did it do that

Get something that can face tank the damage and go ham with tranqs

In the dododex it says,you will need 700 narcoberrrys to tame I with raw meat,but I tamed a lvl.36 Rex with only 300 cauze I dont really have much narcotics(I'm lvl.39).I play on single player and now I dont know if the dododex is extremely wrong or my game has something(I didn't change anything in the settings to make it easier)

Guys relax if one is close to your base and you got like 5 trike and 7 raptors like me they are easy to take out trust me and I’m only level 41 ON MOBILE AND I was just flying around and saw a level 5 female I’m on easy on mobile cause me new :( but I immediately got my crossbow out stood far next to my pt and shot it tranq after tranq AND IT WAS RUNNING TO THE WATER BUT A MIRACLE HAPPENED it got stuck and I knocked it out I was freaking out and now I named her HERSHY cause it’s my fav chocolate it stats was pretty decent and now it’s my top boi

Steps to tame one

1. Look for one I recommend you having a pt with a saddle to run or if you low just get on a impossible cliff for it to climb cause they climb LIKE SPIDERS DO NOT ATTEMPT HIGH ROCKS THEY CAN CLIMB SMALL CLIFF AND TALL ROCKS

2. Prepare for the time of your life be prepared to change your position in case he gets close DO NOT STOP SHOOTING but you don’t have to worry they ARE IDIOTS they always attack random things just try to keep it Away from brontos it will die

3. Once you knock it out prepare for it takes forever I’m a mobile ark player and a pc player so i tamed HERSHY on mobile so it was harder but if on mobile I recommend soothing palm with makes tame 10x more efficient I DIDNT use soothing palm but I do recommend

And use a LOT OF NARCOTICS HUGE TIP;(once you tame it FEED IT THE REST OF YOUR MEAT UNTIL ITS HP MAX

Always best to trap a rex unless using a tek bow or similar as they run when their torpor is almost done!!

Be sure to take more than you think you need when taking a Rex just in case you have to let it wake up and restart the tame. Has happened to me multiple times.

Just keep running and looking back while shooting but if it’s a high level don’t run just accept your fate :)

A trap will be the safest way.rexes can kill you in 3 hits so if it kills then you dead use a trap tranq it and knock it then put some food in his inventory you have a rex that's a killing machine

Although it's say you only need 42 prime meat make sure to consistently give it more prime meat anyway(it expires quick)

No traps needed, just take a flying mount and tranqs, and land somewhere it can’t get you, like the top of a cliff. If not cliffs or high rocks are in the area, you can just fly away from it, dismount, shoot it a few times, then remount, and repeat the process. Hope this helped! :)

Ok hi guys,this is Mandolorianis2cool,its also my roblox name,anyway,here are instructions on how to tame one,I tamed one yesterday and made the saddle very quickly.

How to tame a rex (VERY EASY :D)

1) get 90-110 tranq arrows

2)get crossbow or bow and arrow(if use bow and arrow,bring 2,they break easily unlike crossbow.

3)lure the trex you like to a area it cant climb,like a steep cliff and shoot it in the head or heart(the head and heart are weakspots)

4)when the trex starts going around the area running around,not killing,its almost unconscious,but be careful when you aim,its fast when it runs

5)when unconscious,feed it raw prime meat or raw meat,prime is better,all you need is like 5-15 prime and you tamed the rex(if its unconscious in swamp water,dont worry,it wont drown,that's were I tamed mine)

6)if it IS in swamps,make shure you have a Argentavis or other strong creatures that u can ride to defend the rex from all and any predators(I killed 2 snakes,5-28 kapros,3 sarcos,and 2 scorpions(plus a leech that got on my argentavis wing,i plucked it off in disgust)

If you have a sinomacrops with a good amount of stamina you can float above the rex and shoot it with tranqs till it knocks out.
