I knocked this guy out in the mountain near the swamp, a bajillion raptors tried to eat this guy and it almost died lol and it was night i couldn't see anything, i went full speed and butchered the all the carnivores and made spike walls and covered the raptor, and hell theres so much dinos that can murder me so fast in the area so i had to be hella sneaky, i didnt wanna make my tames attack them because i was scared they were gonna chase them to the swamp, they probably gonna get wiped out if they did....

God i hate that place.

You really don’t need a trap to tame a Rex just run round until it’s down, works for me👍

After you get over the fact this monster can eat you whole its an easy tame once its down

Yeah the only way i tamed my rex is prime meat 4 of them and then soothing balm

Without out that soothing balm my face would have been gone alongside my 2 allosaurus

All you need is a Thyla with good health to tank it with. Let your thyla take damage from the rex while you knock it out from the back of the thyla.

On ark mobile, the kibble for rex is pulmonoscorpius kibble.tame female pulmonoscorpius about 2-3 so you can get egg more and fast little bit.if you play on hard mode i suggest you make 15 kibble to prepared what level rex you want.hope this helps

on scorched at around 75 lon 75 lat only rexes spawn, use this to your advantage

Rexes Can’t break stone, with this in mind you can actually lure one into a trap, preferably 6 by 6 foundations and 4 walls high with a doorframe foundation if you’re going on foot, which you can easily do because rexes are actually reaaaally slow

Use shock darts for the x-rexes, anything else will take years.

I knocked one of these out with my fists. It says you will kill it but mine still has half health. It is level 51

You don’t need a trap just get to a mountain and shoot it it’s easy I tamed one doing this it’s really easy

One of the best and most efficient ways to tame one is use a large wood signpost or a metal signpost literally one of the best traps I've used get it to by a decent tame that has good health and try to place a bunch of these in front and around it to trap it and back away and it will just sit there and bam rex tamed

In 2018 it still works the same as in 2015. Stand on a rock, and shoot it. Then, just breed the tamed ones.

I just knocked out a lvl 145. I used the four stone Dino gate trap method, and it worked well. I recommend bringing two crossbows for that level of Rex. Your first will break after around seventy to eighty shots. A level 145 takes about 100 arrows, but I recommend bringing fifty more, just to be safe. You don’t need narcotics if you can get ahold of prime meat. I’m currently working the crap out of my ptero attacking brontos, paracers, diplos and carnos to get the meat. So far it’s going well. I’m only level forty seven, too, so it’s kind of difficult🤣 but if I can do it, so can everyone else. Good luck, fellow early game Rex tamers!

to the person who said if you should revive the rex, try tidy save it mays respawn him.

Got a Rex saddle at level 50 I am mobile player and tamed on Rex from the Griffin mountain easy peasy

Found a alpha Rex with 3 Rex’s and a alpha carno at my base when I logged on. I now have no base left

DONT LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE WHO SAY NOTHING WILL ATTACK IT!!!!!!! Mine died because a murder turkey attacked it right as it was finished taming that is an hour I will never get back thanks a holes

Easy:

make sure you have a getaway, a couple stacks of meat, and a ton of tranq arrows(or darts)

stand on a real tall rock

shoot it to make it come to you (with rifle or crossbow)

once it’s stuck at the bottom of cliff (or rock) shoot it with TRANQ ARROWS(or darts)

repeat until it goes unconscious

get off and place your meat in inv

wait half an hour and you got the most popular apex predator in the dino kingdom
