if you kill a baby giga while you are pregnant you will get the same amount of xp like kiling a lvl 300 giga.

Use a stone trap with 3 gates and 1 behemoth gate, put foundations below as a base so the reaper queen can’t bury underground after it impregnated you so you can get your whole tribe tamed. For lowering the reaper below 2000, get your tribemate to use a bulbdog, and run towards the reaper with a magnifying glass every once in a while. To actually lower it, use a rock drake, or something that can tank damage and dish it out good. After being impregnated, run around and kill things, spinosaurus’s are extra good for some odd reason. You may also want to kill some reaper queens before to not get the baby to kill you. Get in an enclosed space and then wait… GOOD LUCK ON RAISING THE CHILD! Think it takes after it’s mother don’t you think. ;)

Reaper Queens will shoot spike from there tail at you while the King's will shoot toxic slime balls at you incase someone doesn't know. :)

The number 1 threat of abberation. Capable of causing chaos, and causing a lot of damage. This is the reaper king! “What am I here to talk about then, because I Normally talk about bosses.” Well I like to talk about lore, and the reaper king believe it or not has some important lore worth talking about! And also some additional info! So let’s jump in! (Major spoilers)

So what does this monster look like?

It’s arms are long, with large curved claws. It’s legs are armored with exoskeleton plating, and again really large claws on their feet. And two large spikes jutting out the back of its ankle. And another one jutting vertically at the thigh. A long tail with plating running down it’s back as well as spikes running down it’s back. And that leaves the head and I’m gonna wing it cause it’s hard to describe. 8 spikes five on the back of its head jutting backwards, 2 at the back of its bottom jaw. And the final one on is it’s horn.

So where would you find one? It depends what your looking for. For example, reaper queens would be found deep within the red zone in abberation. Reaper kings spawn on the surface and in the red zone (abberation). Corrupted reaper kings (extinction) spawn in the wasteland. And R-reaper kings, and queens spawn in rockwells innards. (Gen 2)

So what are they good for? After the brutal “taming” experience, via trapping a reaper queen, and bullying it until it’s below 10% health. And useing your shield to defend yourself as you approach her, until she finnaly gives you a baby, that’s equivalent to the devil just after birth. (Unless you consume pheromone glands). Apart from that, they are an amazing tame. They have the ability to leap, knock enemies back with their tail. Throw sticky projectiles that slow enemies down. And the resistance and health of a tank. So all the effort you will have to go through will be worth it!

And probably what you have all been waiting for, the lore! :D

Since arks are basically their own thing, they have what might be called the trust and honor system. The arks make sure the survivors are progressing for the greater good, and the survivors get to screw around and eventually ascend, so it’s a win win. Since corruption was simply not compatible with the certain things the arks wanted there’s also a thing called punishment. And trust me… you don’t want that. So how does this correlate to the creature at hand? Abberation has a punishment system equivalent to “you have lost your living privileges” and reaper kings suit this task perfectly. So why do they spawn in the red zone? Since Rockwell fell into the boss terminal, in the red zone. The arks probably kept unleashing reaper kings in the hopes they might finnaly punish him. So basically this overpowered beast is abberation punishment.

if you want to find a reaper you don’t follow the portal trust me I doesn’t lead you to one

Use a LVL 200+ megalosaurus or spino with a light pet to kill low levels and trap a high level.

I have never tamed a reaper in the game so don't take me on this but I heard that when it plants the baby in you and when it comes out you take a lot of damage so I thought a healing brew will help with the damage but don't take me on it can someone try to confirm this for me

ok so if your on gen 2 and want these boys dont bother woth weapons, onfact you can get them day 1 all youve got to do is go to rockwells innards and get then bellow 2k in the acid!

If you are mass farming R queens and looking for a high level the best method for respawning queens is luring them off into the pit in Rockwell’s Innards a new reaper will spawn every time this is done. No need to kill the queen.

Step one: go on a reaper killing spree and try not to die in the process

Step two: trap a reaper queen in a square made of Adobe dino gates

Step three: get your army of bulbdogs every sane player has

Step four: use the kung-fu and beat the absolute Rice out of it

Step five: get impregnated

Step six: go on a killing spree of non-reapers to give the alien residing in your chest some exp

Step seven: when the reaper baby is about to hatch eat a pheromone from one of the reapers you killed and be in an enclosed space so it don't run off. Make sure you got a lot of meat. You should get it from the reaper corpses.

The reaper queen is always black, but the kings color will be random. If you use the same queen, the kings color will always be the same

On Gen 2 you can go to the Rockwell zone (also where you initiate the final mission) and lead an r-reaper queen (which should be easy to find inside of that area) to the acid area under the heart, keep track of its health and when it’s ready lead it out and get pregnant escape the Rockwell zone and kill creatures to increase xp on reaper (max 75) when the baby is ready the birth have a 1x1 stone hut to keep the baby contained, happy reaper taming. Reaper strat:

So for the reaper I used Adobe I think I used about 6-9 squares might be more. I used a 700 + ascendant shotgun and a glowpug I also was in creative. You will definitely notice but just In case you need to be really close the reaper queen will be glowing purple ish and it will have a sort of shimmer it's important to use magnifying glass and if you're getting a reaper king usually for me I stand behind it at its tail make sure you are safe because even though I was in creative it said I was badly injured.

If you want an effective way while also kinda cool way to keep a Reaper King Baby from running away or killing everything on sight, build a metal 3x3 room, and build a small box in the corner with two double doors to work as a sort of airlock, and have some AC in the room, and when the Baby finally becomes a juvenile, you open the doors and lead it out.

For gen 2 All you need is a stone box, I use a 4x5 stone trap with the short sides being blocked by gateways, just have the queen chase you into a space biome and put the trap on the platform just outside the space biome entrance, have a roof on the trap tho, but it only needs to be as high as the gateways, the reaper will chase you inside and then you trap it, I used the striders chest cannon so I didn’t use any charge lighting cause of the chest cannon does enough damage with the reaper’s resistance, after the reaper is glowing red( low enough health) break a gate, lead it into the tube where there is gravity, it’ll do its thing then leave, for more tips hit up my Ig :spamz_from_tyty, or my snap war_hog3

If you wanna tame a reaper u gotta get a good weapon and I say a sniper ascendant is best and get a light source and get its health below 2000 then turn off lights and go near it and it will impregnate you

Find a reaper, we have a wonderful spot probably near blue zone level. A little lower. We have a trap set up with Small gates to trap her in. Knock her down to below 2k health (Bring a Magnifying Glass) take all charge light off her and stand under her head. 75% of the time she knocks us up first try and multiple tribe mates can get pregnant by the same one!

getting it to low health is not the hard part trust me its getting it to impregnate you for me it doesnt work 30% of the time.
