Reapers are my fav Dino, they are OP,and can be found at the spine on aberration, along with genesis,to tame one,make a 20 wide 20 long stone floor, put stone gateways around it,and find a female reaper,trap her in the stone, get a tek phase pistol,put it on kill, and shoot her until she has a red glowing aura, when she has the aura,get a riot/metal shield, block her acid tail shots,and move close to her, she will then pick you up and impregnate you with her tail,then she will dig and run away,you then have yourself a baby male reaper,kill as many Dinos as you can, this will level up your baby reaper,eventually it will burst out,and then you feed it meat,BE WARNED baby reapers will kill you,so kill a female one,go in her inventory,and get the pheromones,when you feed the reaper, eat the pheromones, and it will grow to be an OP mount, good for absolutely destroying people’s bases.

On gen2 you can cheese it by baiting them down into the acid pit at the bottom, if you want to speed up the process use a charge lantern it makes it 10x faster

I got my 150 in a metal trap and used a spino and feather light to get it to 600hp then got pregnant

I can confirm that being in god mode doesn’t stop you getting the offspring buff

Aberrant Reaper Queens have hidden colour regions that pass down onto the offspring.

It’s not easy unless you have great source of food and a more easy way to trap anything,it can detect, not breed, and has a lot of good stats every few times it’s mostly health to be good.

They really turned the tables on this one

To tame a reaper should select the reaper queen wanted and trap it in a stone 5 by 7 trap surrounded by pillars and close I up with railing then activate a charge lantern to weaken it and damage it with a ballista turrent intill it's under 2000 health and then you should turn of the light, lead it to the back of the trap to be impregnated (to know if it's ready for impregnation you will see a red glow around the neck, if the PILLARS ARE BLOCKING THE TAIL FRM IMPREGNATING YOU YOU SHOULD go to the back and break the pillars so it can sniff you and impregnate)

once impregnated don’t drown or go into radiation. You are allowed to go into tek sleeping pod since they fixed that. Once it pops make sure you are blackboxed with meat in your inventory. It will kill you and take all the meat and as long as you don’t cryo it, you won’t have to feed it until it grows up. Even with slow official rates

K so I came to get a reaper not to get a xenomorph queen to fall in love with me and have a alien egg hatch inside me and have all my organs severely bruised torn and probably eaten at some point then have it bursting out of my chest then having it eat me with all my cooked meat, but in the end I did decimate all the alpha tribes and became the alpha of of that tribe let’s repeat the process again on another sever. :)

Very helpful in raids as it can tank hits a ton if not affected by charge especially against turrets. Has resistance to any type of damage unless affected by charge. The king is best to be used in raids after you have broken past the walls. King can be weak to rock drakes as they get a buff near nameless. The king can be godly with daeodons and if all sources of charge is eliminated. Tail attack is good for damage and crowd control. Acid is good for damage over time and slowness on enemies. Bite seems to be worthless. Tail spins knockback is good to send people flying into the pits of radiation or other hazards.

ASA changed Reaper Level Calculations. Since i've found no credible data on this yet, i experimented to get a working formula. Base Level of the Embryo (E) doesnt change below Player-Level (P) 50, its allways 0.6x of the breeding Queen (Q). Above that (P>=50) it rises according to E = Q+(P-150)*0,6*(Q/150). The possible 75 Bonus levels during gestation are just added on top flat, and are not impacted by player level. A whole level has to be reached and is not rounded up. The formula is pretty accurate, tested on ~100 combinations, and only in very few cases off by a single level, i am not yet sure as to why. ~SK

You can tame them in gen 2 just go the the cave for the boss fight near the terminal they spawn just got to lure them out the ground then lure them in acid Pitt (under the terminal) there it will take damage from rising acid. when its almost dead lure it back out the pitt if it glows red /pink aprouch with shield it wil impregneren you.

Get out of there and kill shit.

No traps.

For Gen2 folks: drag your reaper queen into the acid pit below Rockwells Heart. Hover over her to keep her above ground but out of bite and tail attack range. Spikes will hurt so dodge them as they add torpo. I prefer hiding on one of the surrounding platforms and when she goes underground I hover over her until surfaces and hide again. Sleeping bags in the local area make it easy to get back to work if she kills you. Keep this up until you see lots of green slime on her torso and all along her tail (this means she’s heavily wounded) then lure her from the pit using the ramp and guide her to the right platform away from the tentacles. Not glowing purple yet? Shot gun, bow, whatever just get the additional damage to make her glow. Once she’s glowing, drop near her and viola, you’re pregnant. Max you can level the parasite in your body is +75 or 52500 xp. The clock doesn’t continue when you’re asleep/ offline so don’t die and in 12 hours you need to be in an enclosed room with an inventories worth of meat on your person. King reaper baby bursts forth and you imprint right away. It will kill you and take all the meat it needs to get to a juvenile which is when it feeds off the trough. Congrats, king reaper with minimal effort. I did this yesterday, took 2 hours and I never fired a shot, but I killed 3 queens trying to get it right. Have fun!

raising these are the easiest thing ever. make a 2x1 room, 2 walls high and with a double door either side. go afk in here when you have 10 or 5 minutes left, but make sure youre back before you give birth. once youve given birth, go out the room, get a maewing, blackweight it and boom, you dont need pheramones or nothing!

make sure the baby reaper and maewing are unclaimed though, idk if it needs the glands if it is claimed.

claim the reaper and maewing once it's head is sticking out the wall, because youll be able to easily imprint.

They spawn in the rads zone so build a trap of stone dino gates then get a riot shield get behind it and place the last dino gate and get a catapult, a bilista turret, or a pump shotgun to damage it and when it has a little aura approach it carefully and it'll grab you with its tail and boom.
