While early taming an raptor make sure you have more than one bola. It will be very useful. As raptors roam in groups and bolas are for a short period and if it is a high level and does not get knocked you are sure to die

Most people probably don't know this but pressing jump right when a raptor is pouncing you, your character will do a roll out of it to dodge, a la Legend Of Zelda style. Coolest little hidden mechanic!

So I was going back to fetch my boat because it has a capsule and I don’t want to build another one I had my bronto with level 15 Health 2000 and we both killed the alpha raptor and I got a skull as a reward 😸 ( tame a bronto they’ll save ur life )

The temp for egg hatching is 20-28c so it’s about room temp and easy to hatch. Raptors only take about five arrows to tame and around 12 raw meat, they also tame pretty quick. Once you mount them you’re insanely fast, but make sure you upgrade their weight since they’re small and can’t carry much!

Get 3 or more so you can get the alpha boost, it means all your pack raptor stats its up and the higher level get the alpha boost

Just bola it when its alone, get a wooden club and go behind it and hit it till its unconscious then feed it meat and its yours.. just don’t hit from the front coz it can still fight even when bolad so you’ll he sacrificed for nothing hehe

I like raptors... that are mine raptors in packs can be hard to kill unless you have good damage. So I decided I would like to start breeding them. When I first checked I had like 2 muts but later I found I had 10 I did not notice lol.

Arrows and darts are more effective.

Make a 2x2 stone trap with stone door frames and a wood ramp up 1 side then pelt it with tranqs

use a compound bow and if you hold a tranq arrow on xbox,mobile, or any device, it will show green on the compound bow so u can use tranq arrows for any type of bow.

Use a bola then use a couple tranq arrows put meat and bio toxin bam u got a raptor

If u r a low level DO NOT APPROACH U R WARNED and if it happens on accident then just accept ur fait 😌

Step 1 Afro it on you

Step2 bola it

Step 3 tranq it recommend using bow for lvl people and crossbow for higher lvl

Step 4 wait for food to go down half way then give it like 20 raw meat

Step 5 make raptor saddle for it

To tame a raptor for defence or offence you,ll at least become level 21 and learn tranq arrows after get bolas and you will need to be around need to be around level 10 for them then migrate to the west because raptors most commonly spawn there single out a raptor if needed or tame the pack I recommend singling them out bola them or get on a high rock and start tranqing them out with tranq arrows hit them in the head with tranqs if there about level 50 or above once you’ve knocked it out wait for about half it’s food to drain then put meat in there inventory while keeping them knocked out put wooden spike walls around it to protect it from any predators while knocked out after 10 or 30 minutes it should have lost enough food then put food in its inventory

Two Tips

1- Alpha Raptors (Alphas In General) Can't Be Tamed, So Don't Waste Resource To Tame Them, All You Can Do Is Kill Them For Some Good Items

2- If You Wanna Tame A Raptor Easily, Prepare Atleast 3 Bolas, 16 Tranq Arrows, 2 packs of Raw Meat Just To Be Sure(Prime Meat Is Faster), 10 Narcotics And Make Sure There's Only The Raptor Around, No Other Predators

Throw The Bola At Him, Shoot Tranq Arrows, Put The Meat In His Inventory When Unconcious And Wait, Then Boom, Raptor Tamed

U can't tame alphas. They r easy to kill... kinda.

If you want one go to scorched earth there pretty easy with the rocks if low level use a slingshot they are great starters
