Repeat without distraction or shoot them in the fase with a tranq

Super easy to tame all you need is a bola to stun them and do tranq arrows I recommend a crossbow but a bow is fine and also when you tame them if there’s 3 or more you have tamed they have a pack boost which is some cases can be really useful

You could easily nock out a Lv 20-30 with a boomerang and a club as I did this with a lv 25 and friend said it works on 30s so I would recommend not to waist your tranquil arrows if you need them for a bigger tame

I frickin hate these. They enjoy devouring you, ur friends, and ur dinos! Whenever I see them I usually attempt to run to the biggest herbivore I see so the raptor will either attack it or the herbivore attacks it!! I preferably run towards trikes

Bolas don't work on alphas. Bear traps do though.

This is a utility guide for raptors!(check my taming tip and please by the way this is for mobile players)first of all they are fast and have a pretty decent damage for their size they can't carry too much but can be leveled up for that,they spawn in packs of at least 2 and gets pack buffs(if i'm right)they can be saddled at level 18(as I remember)and can be tamed rather easily they have a normal bite attack AKA the primary attack and have the ability to pounce onto smaller creatures,swipe down on the left side of your screen to pounce,they love meat and will be a good companion for early game!

Get some bolas find the one you wanna tame(if you don't want the others)raptors always spawn in packs,if there's one there's always another one near it,kill the other raptors or lead the one you wanna tame away(killing the others is better) bola it and if you're super low level get a club and beat it's butt (ayo I didn't mean that)or use a bow and tranq arrows to get it unconscious,feed it raw or prime meat or mutton,for better gaming feed it simple kibble or parasaur egg kibble in aek mobile,BOOM you got a raptor!

Easiest thing I have tamed so far as a beginner, highly recommend making a pack of these for when you go hunting

Ack, these things are so fast it’s hard to get away from them... but lucky for you here are some suggestions of how to get away from a pack of raptors(or just one lol)

1. Bola it and kill/run away

2.run under a brontosaurus’s legs

3. Enter a body of water and start swimming

4. Keep a neutral or passive wild dino between you and it, ( parasaurs, carbonemys and trikes

5. Get on a rock and shoot it

6. Run to a cliff

7. Cross a river

Taking a raptor is easy make sure there not multiple around or else your gonna get absolutely destroyed by them they tag team like crazy two of them could easily beat a ankylo

Well this may be a bit of taming, a bit of utility, a bit of encountering? (Maybe a story too idk)

Anyways so I go and tame this lvl 34 raptor, and I go into its inventory to get it a saddle and I hear these large footsteps and next thing I know a carno is on me and my raptor jumps out of nowhere and mauls him, and it saved mg life! (Carno was lvl 20) So these guys are strong enough to take on a carno right after taming (so low ish on health) with enough health to just have a few scratched (I think that it had average health)

So maybe bring a raptor or two if you wanna go find some carnos

Just go into the forest trying to explore. Guaranteed random raptor will come and attack you

I have no idea where these losers come from!!! They just pop out of nowhere and pounce on me! It’s annoying asf and they don’t even give you a chance to fight back!

When a raptor pins you. You can do nothing and no weapon works.

EXCEPT..... Metal/stone Hatchet. Even though it doesn't show any hitting animation. You will see that while pinned downed You can cause damage to it through a hatchet.(MOBILE TRIED). Up If Anyone Does Experiment. Good luck. Try it.

There's a bug that you can't damage the opponent in mobile. Pls fix asap. It's my favorite early dino since i play on a official pvp.

If you are going to tame it I would use bolas on it the hid it with a tranquilizer arrow ore a club.

If you still want a raptor that pounces go to aberration

1.take two of these or one

2.make them overpowered if you have the back commands

3.feel free to take them into any dungeon but only take a normal speed one not two or a very fast one into lava dungeons (learned that the hard way)

3.return all the things to the alien ships any amount of times :3

Knock the boi out

Try to find one that is alone tho

Before everything make sure you have at least 10 raw meat or whatever they eat

There you got a raptor :D

Oh also if they pounced on you and you told your other pets to stop then...........regret your life desisions
