Tranq darts work better than arrows, they take more materials but work much better

The best way to tame a Raptor at a low level is using a Bola and a Slingshot.

It only takes 3 trank arrows to tame a level 20

Use a bow with tranq for better taming effect. Crossbow does too much damage. PS I punched my first ever one to knock it out

First time I tamed a raptor I bola'd it and beat it with a club it gets the job done

It's fast and attacks fast so you should bola it and slingshot or traqu it

If you have an argy, you can make a taming pen of 8 door frames and drop it in to shoot it safely with tranqs from the outside

Stay away and whack em with a friend

They're very easy to kill later on, but harder in the beginning of the game. Always carry bolas with you and tame a few dilos so they can distract the raptors when they attack you. If you have enough health, you can kill them with a wooden spear.

Very fast, dangerous and easy to tame. sadel don' t cost much and very good for travel not for tramsporting

If you have good armour or high health, let the raptor hit you, it only takes a few tranq arrows to knock it out. Make sure to wait at least five seconds between hits. When it starts running, hit it with a tranq arrow fast, or it'll get away.

Bola. Bola. Bola. Bola. Easy as pie with a bola and some tranquil arrows.

If new player Raptor is a great game. Make at least one Bola and use a slingshot, bow if you have one. When knocked out Narcoberries work but around 30 narcotics works if looking for a level 35 or below

Drop one in a small pen then shoot one with 1 tranq bullet and fill it with kibble then just fight dodos for some levels below 40 then go on to orther low level passive dinos before going onto carnavoires

It is easier to tame if you have a taming pin

The best way to tame a raptor is to pick it up with argentavis and drop it into taming pen then start shooting it with tranq darts wait 4 seconds between each shot for the maximum effect to knock it out and make sure you use cable to get a much higher level when finished and only go after high-level Raptors

The Raptor is a very easy to tame and versatile mount. Using a bola you can stop them dead in their tracks and it only takes a few tranq arrows to knockout when they're headshots. Once saddled, they are agile and can jump. A pack of raptors can take on most wild dinos you come across. If out of stamina, hop off to allow a quick regen and then mount back up.

I had lvl 69 raptor named Neko , I saw a low level alpha raptor on our beach and attempted to tame it . I forgot neko was following me and before I knew it he’d saved from dying from the alpha raptor , I was so proud , He is my highest lvl and will always be respected . Thank you for your time

The x-raptor wil take 4times the amount of darts or arrows to knock out. Might be a bug at this time if not let wild card know that x-dinos are broken.
