Step 1 Afro it on you

Step2 bola it

Step 3 tranq it recommend using bow for lvl people and crossbow for higher lvl

Step 4 wait for food to go down half way then give it like 20 raw meat

Step 5 make raptor saddle for it

To tame a raptor for defence or offence you,ll at least become level 21 and learn tranq arrows after get bolas and you will need to be around need to be around level 10 for them then migrate to the west because raptors most commonly spawn there single out a raptor if needed or tame the pack I recommend singling them out bola them or get on a high rock and start tranqing them out with tranq arrows hit them in the head with tranqs if there about level 50 or above once you’ve knocked it out wait for about half it’s food to drain then put meat in there inventory while keeping them knocked out put wooden spike walls around it to protect it from any predators while knocked out after 10 or 30 minutes it should have lost enough food then put food in its inventory

Two Tips

1- Alpha Raptors (Alphas In General) Can't Be Tamed, So Don't Waste Resource To Tame Them, All You Can Do Is Kill Them For Some Good Items

2- If You Wanna Tame A Raptor Easily, Prepare Atleast 3 Bolas, 16 Tranq Arrows, 2 packs of Raw Meat Just To Be Sure(Prime Meat Is Faster), 10 Narcotics And Make Sure There's Only The Raptor Around, No Other Predators

Throw The Bola At Him, Shoot Tranq Arrows, Put The Meat In His Inventory When Unconcious And Wait, Then Boom, Raptor Tamed

U can't tame alphas. They r easy to kill... kinda.

If you want one go to scorched earth there pretty easy with the rocks if low level use a slingshot they are great starters

This is so cheap and worth it(trust me).

Step 1:find a pack

Step2:try to aggro one out of the pack.

Step3:bola it.

Step4: slingshot it.

Step5: give him some raw meat(prime meat if high level.

There you go.

Alpha raptors may seem scary, but a trike or spino in the hands of a decent player will be able to make mince meat out of them no matter the level difference. Why? Because trikes and spinos both have high knockback on fast attacks.

They seem scary, but their only danger is when another carnivore decides to interrupt you. Also any decently strong dino (rex, spino, baryonix, sarco, theri, thyla, etc.) with a level advantage can facetank them 1v1. Past the midgame you shouldn’t have any reason to still fear them.

If you need arrows just kill this guy with your dinos a bunch of times and collect arrows from it inventory if nothing is there check your dinos. wHAt dO i SeE iN yOuR iNvEnToRy

Once they got you in there sights you’re already dead

I’ve tamed 1one of these I have another female taming rn in game.

1. Craft at least 4 bolas depends on how much you’ll try to get btw

2. Ko with tranqs or bat or what every u have

3. Feed it Prime or raw meat

4. Defend it

5. Craft saddle

6. Tamed, rideable raptor! Enjoy!!

This is a good started tame this is how to tame it. You’ll need Tranq arrows and a bola.Step one:find a raptor. Step two:make sure it’s not in a pack. Step three: Bola the raptor and shoot it with with tranq arrows.step four:put meat in and wait for it to be tamed. Hope this helped

I would say use a bola or two and Shoot a couple tranq arrows (or regular arrows) to the head and feed it like 20 meat or so and ta da! You have a raptor

I just used my only raptor to pounce on one and the tranqed it 2 times and it got knocked out

Get a argy and kill something then attack alpha raptor if it is low level then you should be fine my argy hade 288 melee and 600 health

Absolutely MURDERED me at low level, if you ever want to go into a new forest area, bring a few bolas and good weapons.

If you have a tribe of 2 then get two raptors with saddles and you will be good to go

Yo so I was wandering round the island with my parasaurs I was on a para and this raptor came outta no where and pounced on me my paras attacked I hopped off thankfully none of my paras died they died to a trike tho they were some of my best paras! :’)

We'll, I mean they are good and excellent for lower level players because they are really easy to tame but for them to be effective, you need at least a small pack of them or they are going to get shredded to pieces.

These guys are a early game tame and if you get a pack of good mutated ones you will be able to kill alphas and deathworms quite easily and it’s entertaining!
