If you’re looking to kill some rlly high lvl Alpha raptors, I’d suggest taming a max lvl direwolf, then lvling it’s Heath to maybe 10k-15k. Take out most of the raptor’s health on the direwolf, then depending on what ur tryna lvl, take the kill on that.

They are very easy early game games. But be careful, if there is more than one because they will mawl you!

To escape a raptors clasp, simply bola the raptor(s) and kill them / tranq them, if you don’t have any bolas the hop on a large rock so they can’t reach you, if you can’t defend yourself then just runaway from we’re you were and to a place where it won’t bother you so when you die you won’t have to deal with it

Try to get atleast three for pack bonus

Metal crossbow and some tranq darts! Easiest way for me. I just shoot! That is because I have my health up high

If you have good tames, looking for alpha raptors is a pretty good way to get blueprints in mid-game

If you’re being chased by a raptor go in to water they are very slow in water especially if you have a raft

You to have some points in your health and have shield find a raptor then keep shooting it from a hill it cant get up until its knocked then feed it some meat and you have a raptor

Alpha raptors cant pounce and take you off your mount unlike normal raptors, use this to your advantage.

Just get a tame with over 200 health (I did this on my parasaur) walk towards a solo raptor and knock him out from atop of your tame

Beware the raptor territory on "the island map"(standard) You can hardly find any raptors anywhere until u go there then they attack. Four or five at a time ripping you to streads.

When u tame one I suggest upgrading stamina and attack damage. Upgrading speed is pretty pointless for a raptor

If you pump the attack and the speed to 140% they are extremely useful for a fast way of farming meat while also being fast enough to get you out of most situations.

I made the mistake of trying to put it unconscious with a club

If your not interested in bonus levels from your tame and have a good supply of meat after knocking it out, use a club and be gentle. You can tame most of them without narco if you don't mind not getting levels

How much health does a level 5 alpha raptor have?

I usually find them in grassy areas right next to the beach. Sometimes, they are inland in a jungle or on a grassy hill. But mostly near a beach.

You might what to take it out by a far or it will eat you and break your armor I say stand on a rock quails using a bow

I died 6 times just trying to tame it

I was doing megapiranhahunt or something and i died because a raptor lvl 5 i lost all my loot so i get my dinosaurs so i went back to the spot i died and my dinosaurs: parasaur lvl 8, parasaur lvl 15, raptor lvl 7 so when i tryhard to get my loot back my stupid parasaur attacked a bronto so all my dino’s died :(
