I tamed a lvl 25 at the northern edges of the redwoods at the water, and I got attacked by a terror bird at night. Luckily my raptor finished taming about 15 seconds in the fight, and chased it away. My pteranodon also got me on its mount, I think, but I don’t know how. Moral of the story, don’t tame in the redwoods unless you are on an elevated platform.

There was a HUGE pack of raptors and I was alone. And I was left dead on the sand as the raptors tore into me. Wow.

I would tame it by bola and club or shoot it with a tranq arrow with a crossbow in the face.

I HATE THEM THEY CAME OUT OF NOWHERE AND KILLED MY PHIOMIA DUCK THEY CAN BURN IN HELL

Just use parasaur kibble, it’s fine. Parasaur kibble is too easy to make or come across some parasaur eggs. Parasaur are also easy tames, so you’re not wasting the kibble on a high level raptor. Also it’s easier, as a low level, to get parasaur eggs and make kibble than kill stegos and diplos for prime.

Whenever u stumble accross one of these just run and try to run it any other creature like a trike diplo a parasaur it will be distracted, use that opputunity to run.do not engage head on unless u have a good armor and weapon

These guys are very annoying when you're taming things one of em killed my knocked out therezino I was at 50% beware new players but if you're strong enough bring you're spino and wipe you're area of these guys

Use a bola then knock it out with whatever you have but don’t get to close to the face.☠️

I wanna say just bola it .beat it from behind with a knocking equipment.then try putting a lot of meat and wait for an age then put narcs if needed thrn

Fast eaters have to hand feed till 10% might be able to fill at 8.5-9% and leave till trough but killed enough testing it out.

For beginners: bola it and hit it from behind. Feed it meat. Bring narcoberries in case. Fast and deadly mounts. Very useful

For an alpha, a bronto with good stamina can deal with them no problem, they have massive knock back so no issue

Or you can get a journey man sword and do it yourself

Get a bola maybe five if noob bola it and get a club or trank arrows or darts and nock or out and then feed it meat

Step one: you wanna go in the forest (or near a swamp) bola him/her go behind and use a club or your fists to knock it out.step two: go in its inventory and put in raw meat.it’s that simple

This a a tip on how to tame a Raptor. Raptors commonly spawn in dense jungles, beaches, and mountains. First craft a couple bolas because there might be a pack, then find the raptor bola it I prefer either, club, slingshot, or tranq bow. Once knocked out you should either give it raw meat or if you have raw prime meat that works better. Wait until tamed and craft a saddle, the saddle is unlocked at level 18. I will make much more this is my 2nd one!

Super easy early game tame. All you need is a bola, a club, some meat, maybe a few narco berries. I was able to tame a level 7 teck raptor within 2 in game days (she's super pretty and I don't care about levels at the moment).

Don't let these guys get close otherwise you'll be pounced on and you get to watch your health drain.

It does however take knowledge of various game mechanics to make the tame easy.
