I would recommend if you see a tek raptor to tame it and not kill it since they are pretty rare 😃

Not too much of a problem, just watch out for alphas. I was playing splitscreen with my brother the other day on Xbox, and one jumped out and slaughtered him (He was very new. I had given him some gear, but not any bolas, and he wasn't good at fighting yet.). I had only brought my raptor. I whistled for my raptor to attack, and he eventually killed it. However, the alpha brought him down to about 37% health, and I was shooting the thing with my crossbiw the whole time (I ran out of bullets earlier in the trip). He was a level 100 at the time, and the alpha was a level 15. They aren't a joke in combat.

These organisms dinosaur is probably useful because they pack a punch well if they had fist they would they can run very fast which is good for wild carnivore escapes

Steps on how to tame raptor:

Raptors are one of the easiest tames.

1.craft a few bola depending on how many raptors you wanna tame.

2. After you have it in a bola either punch it with your fists,use a bat,slingshot,or 1-5 tranq arrows.

3. They eat meat, feed them narco berries or narcotic to keep it unconscious.

If you ever tame a raptor up the weight a few time and movement speed the rest, name him zoom he will be the best (:

I do mine and it’s easy frost you need wood and thatch and some fiber and build a little house but not to big just Normal and leave the two stuff open and go in the house when the raptor get in put it you have to upgrade your house and you need a bed to respawn and you’ll die in the house with the raptor and you respawn and you can attack it over and over until it’s unconscious and feed it some meat and done I hope it’s helps or not if not I’m sorry I’ll do better next time

Early game they are super useful, late game they make great and happy companions and are somewhat decent at caving.

If you want to tame a raptor you should know this: If you have low health or no good armor,never search for them in forests.They can easily sneak up on you and its easy to miss them while searching.And if you don’t see them coming for you they’ll totally shred you apart(especially if there is a pack.but if you are good at protecting yourself its no problemo)you can bola them and then knock them out even with a simple bow an tranq arrows.I prefer the crossbow. And one little tip it maybe sometimes hard to bring tamed dinos back to base without riding them so you should craft up the saddle before you find the dino you are looking for.

The easiest place I’ve been able to find raptors is by the island in open fields :) I found mine at the moment there but beware because there’s a lot of bees and other small enemies that you may not see until they attack

This is the reason why you need to upgrade to a wooden shelter as soon as possible. I have a love hate relationship with raptors because they are incredibly useful and equally infuriating. Unlike the dilos that you will eventually be able to punch to death in less than a minute, For some reason raptors find a way to be irritating and dangerous in literally every game stage, and although you may get stronger, they will still be strong and fast enough to kill you if you let your guard down for a second. Raptors are a surprisingly versatile mount that can serve as both a scout and calvary unit. Their weight isn't great, but they are fast and they can definitely do some damage. If you focus on stamina, damage, and health you will get a great mount that can help you explore while being able to take down smaller threats, and allow you to escape large ones.

These raptors are so adorable! The baby is smaller than a dodo- a Juvenile is the same size as dodo- and the adolescent is the size of a dilo. THEY ARE SO CUTE!

Place four wooden foundation or 6 or how many you want if there are like 6 you want to place 9 foundations in n a 3x3 then put a Dino gate on one side and but door in it then on opposite side put 3 ramps on the other 2 sides put walls then put 2 pillars high be side it and put a cat walk around and tranq them then wait till half food drain then give each raw prime/raw meat about 20 raw Or 10 prime meat

Cool fun fact about taming carnivores most thing won’t attack them while there knocked so u don’t need to watch as closely

U need about 2-3 Bolas depending on the lvl of your rapter and search the west its the most common spawn

If You're On Medium Difficulty, You Can Use A Atleast Lvl 100 One To Go Through The South Cave, They are Fast And Do A Good Amount Of Damage, Just Make Sure To Bring Atleast 100 Stimberrys

Raptors are good tames they will protect you and all you need is a bola and tranq arrows.

Raptors can be used to get around quickly and if you gather a lot of them like a pack, in PvP maps you will de unstoppable.

I recommend that you let it run to you bola it knock it out with your fist and feed it some meat you won’t need narcotics bc they tame up pretty fast but bring some if you wanna be comfortable
