Wait for them to separate if they're in a pack. They'll probably aggro onto so many different things at once that one is bound to get left behind eventually. Take the opportunity as soon as you can, because they can join back up to the pack if they get close to the others again.

Get a Bola or two and chuck one of them at a Raptor. Then go in with ye wooden club and knock him unconscious. atleast 10 raw meat should do for taming and it isnt hard to get a saddle.

I technically teamed an alpha raptor, I didn’t use cheats or anything, but I was playing on Ragnarok on the switch and a group of raptor had spawned outside of my old base, so I decided to tame them, among these, this one happened to be the highest level and it had brownish black burnt, looking scales for the back, silky, black midnight feathers and a red underbelly I tamed all of them. This one is now the alpha of the pack. ;-; (wasn’t Alpha when I tamed it, but I have an alpha now lol)

1. Get: Sleeping bolas and darts 2. Find raptor/s 3. Throw a bola 4. Throw sleeping arrows so the raptor goes to sleep 5. Put food in his inventory 6. And here you go, you have a raptor! 😘

Getting the high ground on a raptor has been a popular choice for me when taming them. There not to hard to tame and useful for getting around and killing other Dino’s or mammals

10 tranq arrows

1-2 tranq darts

The first time i came across a raptor, it was level 60 and i shot it in the face once. It jumped on me and i swear i was dead, but it ended up going unconscious. Later they got murdered after i was jumped by 5 titanboas and 4 other raptors… i would never be where I’m at now if it wasn’t for them.

If you want to kill this creature or tame tame is gonna be at the last paragraph so anyways let’s start packing…

You’ll need:

-1-8 bolas ( depending if it’s a group or a lot you want to kill

- stone arrows (7-38)

- 3 clubs (incase they break)

- 5 dilos

-3 dodos (for extra backup)

Now let me do you an example…

Find a pack of raptors, bola a few of the raptors, shoot the unbola raptors & 7 should kill them each, club the back of the raptors you used the bola on so they don’t attack you or kill you, once the raptor knocked out use the most painful method you want to use, and that is it for the killing raptors!! 👇 for the taming raptors now!!….

How to tame a raptor!! Now let’s get packing…

You’ll need:

-6 bolas for catching them

-2 clubs or melee damage 30

- 10-40 raw meat or any meat you want but I prefer 5 raw prime meat or cooked prime meat

Now let me show you…

Find a raptor you want or like, get its attention or find it attacking a phiomia or parasaur, bola the raptor and more nearby, hit the raptors back once it gets bola because it won’t be able to pounce on you or kill you, once the raptor is unconscious use your prime meat, raw meat, & cooked prime meat you can pick either, get about 8 narcotics with the pistol you’ll need about 35 narcoberries & 6 raw meat to make narcotics, feed the the meat to the raptor, feed the narcotics just one to each raptor once torpor is low or two once the raptor is about to wake up, protect your raptor from nearby carnivores , wait for your raptor to wake up,

It's easy to tame these guys as long as you have the correct stuff you will need 1 bola and your Club hit it with the bola and then hit it with club on Tail if not it will Scratch you and then get meat and feed it I have 3 so I know a lot I hope this helps you

Left click is the ordinary button for the attack and right click is the pounce, and the c attack can be used in a pack with more than 2 raptors, the raptor pack call buff lasts 45 seconds and the pack buff can increase attack speed, damage output, resistance to damage and movement speed, would recommend using the pack buff when your in a tight situation, would recommend for small boss fights just use ascendant raptor saddle above 250 armor points and leveling health and melee

I dont know but i go madness i slap a raptor with a wooden club and my Shield to tame a raptor idk how dangerus it is but ITS a whorth i succedfully tame a raptor a great tip Raise your shield after 2 raptor hit cuz there Special is kinda anoying

Best first carnivore tame, recommended to catch with a bola and a slingshot.

The second you get a bola and club you can tame this. Just bola the raptor and whack is with the club!

Nice early game tame just a bola and couple tranq arrows and your meat and then tame it:)

Raptors on their on can take down some medium sized dinos, but in packs you can take down dinos like trikes and stegos, and if you have enough high level raptors, a therizino or a rex! Use the raptor for general defense before you get better tames like the baryonx and the carnotaurus!

Use a bola and tranq arrows to knock it out and feed it meat to tame,

Tame around 6 to create an army, and a 7th for you to ride.

Upgrade weight before you get the saddle

If you ever encounter an alpha raptor in the wild and you’re unprepared, kill something like a dodo or a listro and lead it to the body. It should stop aggroing on you and will by you some time to escape. If that doesn’t work, find something like a trike and make the raptor accidentally hit it. They should start fighting while you run away.
