Woah got triplets first try in single player now I got a raptor pack, of course the highest lvl one is named alpha

When trying to tame a raptor, ( which is very worth it in early game) try and hit it with as many narco arrows as you can. When it charges, do t run; just have a club ready. Shoot it as many times as you can with arrows and once it reaches you, just whack the crap out of it with your club. And be sure to have meat ready to tame with.

They might come out of absolutely nowhere but as long you have narco arrows you should be just fine and also have a bolas

A pack of 5 low level raptors that are mate boosted make quick work of a Theri

2 tranq from crossbow to knock I think 3-4 with bow and if your a bob the best way to deal with them is a trike or stego

Here is a easy way to tame a raptor:get a few tranq arrows :grt a crossbow shoot them 1 time in the head and then feed them some meat that’s how I tamed mine

These alphas are indestructible

Beginner tip: if u see a raptor with an orange aura means that hes about to get knocked down so go and punch him and boom last thing you know you got a brand new raptor

Who all hates the alpha raptors i know I do

I remember being such a noob and u saw a dilo i tamed it thrn a FRIKIN ALPHA raptor i though a normal raptor and ran But one thing happened i was running THEN FOUND A FRIKIN REX and it killed me and my dilo 😔

1 like =1 respect for the dilo and for my rex who was kn passive because it got murdered by the alpha raptor

They killed me and killed me again. Don't go near them. I tamed one then the rest of the pack came after me.

So this thing is a beast it can pounce.Me and my pteranodon almost died from a pack. Be careful near these guys i now have an argy and sometimes i pick the Raptors up using the argy and attack them. They still bite tho so i try to kill them with my argy as fast as I can.So yeah alpha tho i just try to run away.I do have my own raptor which i dont use as much but still care about.Thats my encounters for these guys :p

If you tame one of these in the south of The Island than get out of there fast because: I just tamed a raptor with Tintoberry (my carbenemys) then I was ready to get back but I was first checking for danger but I didn’t see any. But then out of sudden NOWHERE an ALLO PACK jumped out at us and ripped Tintoberry apart. Then my raptor I just tamed started fighting to and got ripped apart. And that’s how I lost Tintoberry and Lime :,(

I was walking around with my otter (level 246) and I encountered a alpha Raptor and It’s pack my otter full on slayed the raptors and lost almost no health in the process
