To day ( march 30 2020 a ten year old on ark level 59 with her tapjara level 28.)Killed a alpha raptor level 4 with 36000 hp, she was so glad because it killed her level 70 raptor, (on the island in the footpaw( the ten year old was me btw) (tapjara name is redwood we love goIng to the redwoods plus her colors are like the redwoods(no one died btw just two raptors)

Get it’s attention by shooting it with a bow and stone arrow. Next, as it is charging at you, pull out a bola and when it gets close, bola it. Then, hit it with tranq arrows. (3-7) Finally, the easy way to take it is narcroberries and raw meat.

Use a bola and hit it with a club

Bola then hit from the side with a club.

This cannot be screwed up unless you walk into its face.

Alffas are soooooooooo strong.

Step 1 make a bow and 10-15 tranq arrows

Step 2 locate a raptor (I find them near the opposing land to herbivore island

Step 3 bola it kill the rest if in pack unless you want to tame them too

Step 4 feed it meat (preferably prime meat if you have it)

Step 5 enjoy your raptor

If you want to tame one just kill all the others in the pack and bola the highest level (if theres a pack leader tame that for bonuses) and start hitting it with a club or shoot it with tranq arrows in the head.

This tip is for batteling Alpha Raptors in Ark Survival Ascended.

In ASA, Alpha’s can now eat corpses, but tooday I noticed they can’t eat baby corpes. So If you want to kill an Alpha Raptor, make sure he kills a baby dino and while he’s attacking the corpes put some arrows in the head. I tried it myself and it works!

A basic Alpha Raptor Hunting Guide

You will need

A saddled Stego(any armor works)

Veggie Cakes(optional).

1. Find an alpha raptor

2. Clear the area of secondary threats

3. Start swinging at the raptor(it usually gets in roughly 1 hit per 3 stego swings).

4. Keep swinging until the raptor is killed(veggie cakes can be used to heal).

5. Collect your reward

Raw Prime Meat

Hide

Mid-High teir loot(includes metal tools).

T-Rex skull(hat skin).

The best way to tame a raptor:

1 Craft a bola

2 Find a lone raptor

3 When it sprints towards you throw the bola at it

4 Knock it out with a slingshot to the head

5 Put meat in it’s inventory and you have a raptor

Are surprisingly decent at raiding as they can pounce players of there mounts and kill them, just need to have a lot of healtj

These things are a pain in the fking arse, I mean I keep on getting dilos and getting amazing progress but then these pains come out of fricking nowhere and obliterate me. Argh!!!

Low level Raptor Tame: Eh thats fine, Ill just tame it and another one of opposite gender and then breed them twice and imprint, kill the parents and repeat until I have an insane raptor.

High level Raptor Tame (100+ Level Once Tamed): BOIS, GET ME THE TRANQS AND THE SOOTHING BALM AND THE BIOTOXIN!! EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE ABOSLUTELY PERFECT RIGHT NOW!! AND BRING ME WHATEVER ASCENDANT RAPTOR SADDLE YOU HAVE!!

Too dangerous to tame in the Redwoods, especially at night in most parts. Good luck trying to, especially if your health cap isn’t 1000+ yet, cuz even if its a high level that you want, in that situation your options are either fight, or die.

These things are like the alpha of all the early game tames. They are great pack dinos, they can jump, and, if you want one of these and you’re a starter, all you need is to find a low level one, get a bola and club, and beat it till it’s knocked out.

Update on titan Mace, toast, and waylona, toast died and I got two new raptors . A level 40 named ash and toast the second, all of them except ash died fighting a bronto including my Parasaur (goat ) and dodo (Bowie ) now me and ash are doing photography invertebrates
