I have tamed loads of these guys. Fairly easy especially with prime meat. Heres how to tame them:

Youll need: slingshot with 40 stone, five bolas, and 25 raw meat.

First, bola the raptor

Second, pelt the raptor with rock.

Third, feed it raw meat and keep track of its torpor.

Fourth, You have your raptor! Congrats!

Great in packs, Good speed and manageable damage, I have six and use five of them for hunting

The level 25 Alpha rez finished my sarco but i got my Revenge....

Best thing to kill these is to knock them out using high damage now or OP slingshot like a master raft one and then it’s just easy melee to knock them out, I’ve also noticed they get knocked backed and distracted pretty easily, just have a useless Dino with you and taking items such as bola, bow and slingshot and they’re pretty easy to deal with. Otherwise, they are literally like termites in a house to raptors to your tames and face

If the raptor is at a low level than if you have at least 150% melee damage than just rush him/her and rapid hit it also you should have a good amount of health

If you want to kill an alpha raptor a low level use a imprinted Rex

Bruh the alphas are like flipin allos. I acually saw one go at TWO trikes at once! They’re CRAAAAAAAZY MAAAAAAAAN

Although they are very fast and good in pack, this guys are so annoying as everytime you put them to follow while on hunt, you have turn and go back to find them as some just stop and dont follow well sometimes.

They may seem strong but a low level can easily be killed with a spear

This is how I tamed my raptor and it worked really well. You need tons of arrows because they’re hard to hit. I jumped into a high rock, had like 20 tranq arrows, parasaur kibble, and then after a minute it saw me and ran at me, then circled the rock. I eventually managed to hit it enough times that it conked out and I tamed it with 1 parasaur kibble. Boom! You have a raptor. They’re super fast on land but kind of slow in the water.
