Devs have patched the bug where the bag despawns after cryopoding

Pyromane abilities and benefits

It passively cooks meat, along with that transforming it into jerky over time without oil (unsure if spark power needed)

In both forms it provides insulation but the lion form provides much greater insulation

It can provide fuel to refining forges and campfires

It has a immense damage over time ability in the form of its fire effect, this can go up in stages to 10

Think of its DOT being similar to the thylacoleo’s DOT (unsure of which is more)

Its battle abilities includes, a m1 bite applying the status

effect and dealing a base of 20 damage I believe, however the attack is a brutal one due to its speed of attack

Right click/Left bumper for console (I believe) uses the flame leap ability this can be used every 5 seconds

Holding right click/left bumper uses the flame trail ability this consumes some of its absorbed flames

Ctrl right click/ r3 + left bumper (I think) uses the flame absorb ability, it absorbs nearby flames and stores them for battle use

Ctrl + left click/r3 Right bumper uses the flame boost effect, this consumes absorbed flames to deal an additional 50% damage, lasts until cancelled or depleted of absorbed flames

Swap to shoulder pet, Ctrl + C (unknown of console keybind)

Self explanatory, it transforms it to the shoulder pet form

This has been utility of the pyromane, I apologize if I got some of the console keybinds wrong

When you have a pyromane on your shoulder leeches that attach will burn of automatically!

It's poo spoils into charcoal if collected

This creature is hands down THE best tame in the game. I have been following ark since 2018 and I've never seen anything like this, I just took down a 150 alpha Rex with just this guy. Get one immediately they are so so good

Take to water

Pike until it lets you ride

Go around swiping stuff once in fire RB+LT to absorb flames rinse and repeat until dead.

Move on to next wild dino keep doing this until 100% then RB+RT to complete the tame.

Pyromanes and probably the most useful tame at least to me, these tames can take out most creatures in the game especially with their powerful fire abilities, they give great cold and heat resistance also make cooked meat for you without any cost, very convenient because they can fit on your shoulder and then be released

Definitely worth the five bucks

Absolutely walks all over lava golem and ice worm queen with 5K hp (even easier if you mate boost, also won’t die to lava golem fire

The button combo on Xbox to transform it while riding is down on right joystick and right bumber

To guy who said walks all over Lava Golem and Ice worm queen. I have killed the ice worm queen, but what melee for fighting the Lava golem. Also does fires affect the golem. Could my Pyromane that I beat the queen with (8k hp and 455 or more % melee lvl 277) beat the lava golem? Thank you.

Breeding Timers: Shadowmane has the same data for babies growth time as the Pyromane.

They get instakilled in lava in Lava Golem Cave. Tried to transform in cave and it launched me into lava, so be careful!

U can’t tame unless u own fantastic tames mod I tried but I couldn’t

Using a pyromane as fuel seems to drain its hunger. Keep an eye on your troughs, mine almost starved to death over night

Doesnt need a saddle. Can turn into a shoulder pet from the dial or with certain button combo while riding it (it tells you the controls, similar to a rhynio)

You can beat the manticore on gamma with a pyromancer on your shoulder and a mane to ride then shoot it a bunch, and boom you just killed the manticore

Someone tell us, the button combination in ps5? They are bug, dont show in the screen.

From my experience this thing gets chitin better than any other creature. Went out killing things on scorched earth, came back 10 minutes later with 2 lockers full of chitin and keratin
