Update what this thing can be affected by NOW. Dododex said this could not be bola'd, so I went to PVP some guys in their cave and SURE enough, first thing they did was bola the pyromane and it knocked me off the Pyro. I ended up being killed along with my pyro. This happened to me last night in Ark Ascended.

PYROMANE's ARE AFFECTED by BOLA's in BOTH ASE/ASA.

It is carryable by rhyniognatha

You can actually find these on schorched earth in the wyvern trench too

If u want to accept wildcards mistake as a blessing or to sacrifice because of their mistake, pyromane can be found in blue zone on ab

One direct counter to killing tamed pyromanes with riders is getting a meaglosaurus a raptor and a pike or gun

The megalo is for picking up the pyro and eating it up

To en the raptor guy will chase the pyro rider and pounce him. Then the raptor guy will jump off and use the pike or gun and start killing him

Then hopefully they die.

(If the megalo can’t kill the pyro bring another tame to help kill it do NOT use a low level megalosaurus because when pyros die they explode so make sure you have flak armour and your megalosaurus high hp)

Don't fly too close or they will shoot fire at you and set you on fire for like 20 seconds.

If you Bola it in water and get it to roar while still in Nola, when you remove it, it will still attack so shoot it again (this is for early game taming with crossbow)
