Probably one of my favorite dino of all time. This thing makes a great traveling tame with its high jump and high weight. Not to mention it can carry a lot if you put weight in it and can do decent damage. Absolutely useful in any point of the game.

On PC (Scorched Earth) it can carry adult Jerboa! I’m working up to playing as a nomad and this is going to be so helpful so I don’t lose all my jerbs if we’re attacked.

You can go inside a females pouch, one day I was dumb and decided it would be fun to set my kangaroo to wandering, go in the pouch and shoot a Dilo with a shotgun. R.I.P “ Hoppy “ my kangaroo. P.S. the Dilo survived

You can use it for getting magmasaur egg, just level hp , may be some weight , hop in near an egg , dismount then grap the egg , and jump on the rock and escape ez egg

Put jerboas in the female’s pouch and she will carry them

apparently you gotta even feed dino’s that are beyond 10% maturation inside procoptodons. lost a juvi mesopithecus to starvation in the pouch.

In PvE, can be use to steal poop or eggs from your neighbours.

heres a minigame. Get a few of these and some friends and dodos then make little cages and use its kick attack and see who gets the dodo in a cage whoever gets the most wins!

Can be carried by an agintavis.

Good for jumping and don't take much fall-damage. Procroptodons also can jump to AMAZING heights and are good for evading enemies!

The dododex says that this dino isn't very good at harvesting thatch, but I beg to differ. As it is one of the best thatch gatherers in the game, especially in scorched earth. Just because of its speed, maneuverability, weight stat and it can't "accidentally" harvest any bushes. It is actually better than using a wyvern, I have tested them both and got a full large storage chest of thatch within 10 to 15 minutes, maybe less. The wyvern was too fiddly.(moose is definitely better on the island map though)

Despite their berry rating being low their jump kick attack gathers a ton of narco berries

The Saddle is to expensive who has 150 pelt at level 23

Not only is the Procoptodon both fast and durable, but it’s also great at gathering resources! It’s two attacks are a bite and knock-back kick which packs quite a punch. Its stamina is incredible even at a low lvl, and it’s amazing jump can get you out of a messy situation fast. They can out-jump any creature!

Can be used to beat the broodmother

If you use it’s kick attack and time it well then it’s possible to kill lots of stuff without taking any damage. Another thing is that their kick attack doesn’t hit in front of them. It also hits around their sides, which is useful when fighting hordes of creatures. However it’s damage is pretty low so you probably shouldn’t use it for combat.

If someone has pushed a raft into the mesh, you can sit in its pouch to access any boxes
